Hello! I think my wrist may need a referral and/or possibly x-ray. However, in my experience, when I've gone to Multicare, they bill separately for random "physician costs" that aren't covered at all by Medicare. Where can I be seen for a non-emergent wrist injury that hopefully is 100% covered by Medicare?

Bad title I know, more of an explanation below which will hopefully get a better answer than “Goodwill, duh”. I have used, but still very usable, kitchenware that I’m hoping to donate to someone in need. The reason I’m reluctant to just dump it off at a thrift store is because the plates and utensils are a matching set (rather than someone having to cobble together a set of mismatched plates and bowls from Goodwill) and because it’s got most of the basics in it that someone could use to get their kitchen set up at least part of the way. Are there any organizations that help people transition out of houselessness, or that help DV survivors, who take donations like these? I looked at Mary’s Place and it looks like they only want new stuff unless I read their website wrong. I thought about trying FB Marketplace but like I said I’d like to be able to give this stuff to someone who could really benefit from it, rather than whoever is just fastest to reply to a free stuff ad. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Moving to Seattle for a job at the University of Washington. Which neighborhood would you target for renting a home that balances reasonable proximity to the University with great schools (ideally public) for elementary aged children. A family friendly neighborhood would be ideal. Seeing a lot of mixed reviews on public schools in the area.

I AM IN SEATTLE. THIS POST REFERS TO A TAX FUNDED PROGRAM SPECIFIC TO SEATTLE. MODS PLEASE DO NOT CENSOR ME UNDER THE EXCUSE THAT NY POST IS SOMEHOW UNRELATED TO SEATTLE. IT OBVIOUSLY IS ABOUT SEATTLE. I AM AT THE END OF MY ROPE. I'm so upset. 4 months ago my bicycle was destroyed and my rib fractured by an idiot on an E-Bike who hit me head on because he was going full speed down a sidewalk while I was slowly turning a corner going up a slight incline. He refused to give me his information. I filed a police report but of course they won't do anything. I look to see if there is some way to get enough money to fix my bicycle so I can start riding again and all I see is this $1,200 tax funded voucher for an e-bike. I just want my normal bike back. Sorry for venting.

Hello! I’m a political science student at UW. I have an assignment where I need to study a political crowd coming up, but I work full time and am a full time student. I’ve had a hard time finding events that fit into my schedule, and I’d love some suggestions from the people of Seattle. If you guys know of any campaign events, protests, city hall meeting, or anything else politically themed coming up locally, please drop it in the comments!!

It’s that time of year. I’m craving apple cider donuts and need your recommendations for where I can get them in Seattle! I never seem to see them anywhere, but I tend to frequent the same places. Thanks!
