Hi- I have started playing drums after a break of a few years ( stopped due to location changes) Can play rock, a little metal and bollywood. Any suggestions what is the best way to find a band around here for weekend jams, with eventual aim to perform in some local clubs. My youtube channel where I posted a few years ago. https://youtube.com/@sikhdrummer?si=ZLaQ15jXDjfs-IvR

Found my old Alderwood Middle School yearbooks today at my parents’ house. 😂 Back when the school was down the street from Circuit City, or what would become Circuit City. (It’s now the Whole Foods by Lowe’s.) I remember the last day of 8th grade, on the last bus ride home, the radio played “Stay” by Lisa Loeb. Honestly, horrible memories at this place, but I did enjoy buying Slim Jim’s at lunch. 😂

Just got married over the weekend! I DIY’d a lot of it and have lots of decor, etc leftover. I would love to make back some change, but mostly I just don’t want anything to go to waste. Does anyone have any suggestions? IDK if Craigslist is a viable option anymore, and I don’t want to go straight to Goodwill until that’s the only option left. Thanks in advance :)

Honestly, it feels like a lot to process, having not followed this earlier. There's only "pro" sides, so there isn't a counterpoint to why a proposition shouldn't happen. It appears these came through the Charter Review Commission, then through the City Council. I'll also reference Rule 9 for the subreddit, regarding political discussion. "Try to remember that this is a local board; these are your neighbors. Avoid inflammatory rhetoric and be thoughtful about your positions. If your first contribution to our community is dropping in on a political thread with low quality or incendiary takes you will be permanently banned. Don't try to smokescreen a violation of other rules as your personal politics; it is obvious, obnoxious, and it just makes you look stupid."

Moving to North City from Fremont, we have two sweet fur babies who need occasional drop-in cat sitting when we’re out of town. We’ve been blessed with such an amazing sitter who charged $20 per drop-in visit to feed and play with the cats for 10-15min. But shoreline is too far for her (no car) so we’re looking for our new sitter! Any other cat parents have a go-to they love and recommend? I don’t use rover.

Looking for any feedback on Real Deal Cars. The Google reviews are all glowing but wouldn't mind hearing from this sub because I don't trust anything.
