Hello everyone! My sister lost keys with a fob yesterday. She thinks it could have been on her way to UW (from Fremont) on the Burke trail. It’s super important because they’re to check up on a cat while its owner is away. Please let me know if anyone finds it or could keep an eye out!!

Hi, neighbors. When I search for dog grooming locally, most of the results only show smaller dogs and I want to find a place that would be appropriate for my 65-70 pound German Shepherd mix. She's a sweet girl who is the opposite of aggressive, but does not like baths. Any recommendations (or even confirmation that she'd be fine from groomers themselves) would be appreciated! And, of course, dog tax .

Amazon hasn't yet filed a notice with Washington's Employment Security Department, which is required when a company lays off 50 or more workers in the state. Amazon's online store sales rose 15% to $70.4 billion in the second quarter, and revenue from third-party seller services grew 16% to $46.8 billion. The cuts follow Amazon's elimination of about 30,000 corporate jobs in October 2025 and January 2026, the largest workforce reduction in the company's history. ~ The 50-worker state notice exists so nobody has to take an employer's word for what "a small number of roles" means. It has not been filed, so for now we are taking their word for it.

Anyone know if all the construction around this exit is in part to improve the southbound exit? More and more I find that is backed up all the way onto the freeway. I’m terrified that at some point someone is going to smash into the back of someone at high speeds with the unexpected slowdown. From what ive read it’s just a new overpass for Poplar way which seems unlikely to mitigate this issue.

I learned here that these dinosaurs were recently removed and unceremoniously cut up and thrown in a dumpster. I happened to get a scan of them just a few months earlier. I feel very fortunate to have taken this dataset just in the nick of time. You never know when your scanning habit might accidentally become history. Low res version got some traction in the comments, so I re-processed at higher quality with a larger dataset from 2 combined passes, made it downloadable. I can share source files via DM as well if anyone else wants to play with them. People in comments asked about 3d printing, definitely possible but would require cleanup I haven't done yet. Would be happy to if there is interest. Shot on Pixel 8. Processed in Spirula Studio, bg sky sphere from same dataset in Luma, combined and cleaned in Supersplat.

Folks who work in the corporate field in this domain, can you please share what these companies look for, before investing in an area? Realistically is there any chance for us to get one?

Is it just me or are the sirens out of control all day long? Does Lakewood cover any part of Cleveland emergency response, or the highway? It seems like I hear sirens all day long over the last couples after starting to work from home.

I need new friends. I have lots of hobbies and interests- museums, nature walks, perfume, drawing, painting, board games, tea, and more. I’m feeling sort of stuck socially. Anyone have any club or event suggestions, or something?
