KOMO is reporting that the union leader says this WASN'T a union related event. If that's the case, what was it? Too many Seahawks hangovers? 23 people actually getting sick at once? But then the article also points to backup workers declining as well. Any union people, can you speak to, if it isn't a unionized or related event, then does the union still protect you and will these people face some kind of penalty as union members? Curious, don't know anything about how that works. I'm 22 years old with an Associate's in Civil Engineering but I don't really want to become a Civil Engineer or even complete the degree. I've looked into surveying as a career and I think it's something I'd really be interested in. What are the job opportunities like in Tacoma? Could I live on my own over there with an entry level surveying job, get experience, on the job training, and certificates over the years, and make a comfortable living for myself? I've always wanted to escape Miami and go somewhere with mountains, is this a good idea or should I get some experience here first? From what I can find the cost of living isn't as bad as Seattle, am I crazy or should I give it a go?

Is there anywhere besides the gold Scrap places to sell jewelry? I’ve sold at Seattle gold before and it’s a great place for Scrap, but it’s a real shame to watch them smash out precious stones of good usable jewelry. I’m not expecting to get a retail price but would hope that there’s some value beyond it scrap metal. Thank you in advance.

Hey y'all! Seattle native here who moved to LA because my rent was too low and I love putting sunblock on my pale Seattle skin. My friend and I are co-headlining a show this Friday at Vermillion where we do standup comedy and also call our moms. We are call-your-mom type folk and think it will be a fun Friday night. What should I ask my mom when I call her? Should I bring up that time she texted me her HPV test results? https://www.eventbrite.com/e/call-your-mom-tour-with-max-and-alexis-tickets-1999799905350?aff=oddtdtcreator&keep_tld=true

It feels like every inch of space is filled with graffiti in the inner parts of the city. They're usually just tagging too so it's nothing but an eyesore and more tax money to clean it up. The worst is when they tag road signs. I've seen so many where I couldn't read what the sign says. Isn't this a huge safety hazard?

Hi is there any current pick up soccer groups or locations around Ballard? I’ve gone to cal Anderson a couple times Saturday mornings but it’s far away so hoping to find something a little closer.
