Seeing a lot of heaters with auto shut offs, and timers to turn off. But i haven't seen anything that can turn on at a certain time, or has delay start. I run warm/hot when going to sleep, but get colder in the mornings (not to mention I have to painfully drag myself out of my blankets during the winter.)
I see a lot of posts on this sub about how we need to tradeoff some parts of the current light rail plan like Everett or West Seattle to fund the Ballard line. Why isn't anyone talking about another ballot measure (an "ST4") to fund everything in a near-term timeframe? It has been a long time since the last ballot measure in 2016 and light rail has really proven to be successful with high ridership and successful mixed use communities around stations. It seems like something that would be worth another investment. Just watching the review of the system below where he laments how cost overruns are pushing out timelines. This seems like something we can fix. Seattle's LINK: Almost Too Good to Be Real

Hello all! I’m looking for insurance options that are affordable with decent coverage. I’m currently on Apple health but got a new job that puts me just outside the qualification range. I have frequent appointments and many medications that I can’t afford on my own. Does anyone have any recommendations? TYIA
I’m looking for a place to enjoy a book at a library with outdoor seating. I know I can always check out a book, but I don’t want to do that. I don’t think there’s one, but it was worth asking. Thanks!
You can spend 10 minutes at Whole Foods at pretty much any time of day and see multiple people loading up their bags and walking out without paying. This can't be sustainable long term, right? Roosevelt in general has been going downhill over the past year but I'm curious if anyone has any insight on Whole Foods situation specifically.
Just moved to the area from Philly and really trying to find a solid place to watch the wnba playoffs, preferably even on days there is football. Used to having a couple queer bars to choose from, but am not sure where to start here. A friend recommended Doyle's which I tried today but in addition to the Seahawks game (understandable, no shade) they were playing other football games patrons had asked for and it was clear putting on the Liberty/Lynx game wasn't gonna work.
Cedar & Center has been closed for 3.5 hrs now. I assume a bad accident. Anyone know?
I have an oddly specific question! Are there any current or former Lover’s Adult Store employees (or anyone who used to regularly shop there) who remembers the exact scent they used to diffuse throughout all of their locations? I specifically remember asking an employee about it, and she told me the scent was called either “Black Orchid” or “Dark Orchid,” but unfortunately I never got the specific brand or fragrance company. This would’ve been around 2016–2018, when they seemed to consistently use the same scent throughout their stores. I’ve literally been searching for it for years and have never found anything that smells like it. Hopefully someone out there remembers what I’m talking about or, even better, knows exactly what scent it was! 🙏🏽
