Been trying to do some research and understand our local small business unionizing efforts in Seattle. Anyone know of places 20 employees less that have had successful (or not successful) collective bargaining or unionizing efforts? Or are in the process (feel free to DM me if that’s the case). As someone working at a small biz with fellow upset coworkers in Seattle, would love to learn more about your experience. #workersunite

Been applying to different places on indeed and LinkedIn with no luck. Does anyone know of some places that will hire young adults? I have a college degree in communications but with my luck of applications I can see that it doesn’t quite matter. I’m willing to work whatever at this point to make some income.
I been wanting to move to Seattle for many years but jobs, family obligations, and personal circumstances ended up stifling me at every turn. Last year I finally said fuck it, im gonna make this move happen one way or another. Had to sacrifice alot to make it happen but couldn't be more excited! Im somewhat familiar with this area as my sister and lot of my close friends live here so I been visiting at least few times a year, but i would love any tips/advice for a newcomer.
Hihi! I thought I’d post this on here. I moved out to Seattle a couple of months ago and have been between places to stay, I’ve done Airbnb’s and hostels (Shoutout to the Green Tortoise). I just moved here, and it’s been hard trying to find a place while also job searching! I’d really appreciate it if anyone had a spare room. I got a part-time job at a warehouse but it doesn’t start until Oct. 15th. I’m 18, I love space, photography, and nature. I’m a really chill and friendly person, and would love it if anyone could help. Thanks!
Hello! Has anyone driven 202 to Fall City or Snoqualmie today? I'm trying to figure out if traffic is as bad today as yesterday, thanks!
Does anyone know of any sports bars in or near the Renton area that actually plays all the NFL games on Sundays? Most seem to only play one or two games

We got a chance to tour the new Amtrak Cascades Airo trainsets yesterday, and we wanted to share with you. I ended up getting a lot more videos than photos, so if you want to see more features check out our post on Instagram (@wsdot) or TikTok (@washingtonstatedot). Onboard, you’ll find more comfortable seating options, an updated cafe, and improved accessibility features. You’ll get your chance to ride starting Sept. 30, when the first two trainsets will begin operating four daily trips between Vancouver, B.C., and Eugene. NORTHBOUND - Train 516: Seattle —> Vancouver, B.C. (8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.) - Train 508: Eugene —> Seattle (4:30-10:50 p.m.) SOUTHBOUND - Train 503: Seattle —> Eugene (7:10 a.m.-1:48 p.m.) - Train 519: Vancouver, B.C. —> Seattle (4:45-9:10 p.m.) Additional new Amtrak Cascades trainsets will enter service through 2027.
