Hoping the collective mind of Seattle can help out here. There used to be a place in Bothell called 193. It was on the bike path. They used to carry a beer called cherry pie and it was absolutely wonderful and felt like you were drinking a cherry pie. They’ve apparently gone out of business and I’m wondering if anyone knows another place in Seattle that sells that same beer?

The current 0.6% sales tax rate that funds Everett Transit would increase to 1.2%, bringing it in line with the rest of the county. [...] But thanks to a 2025 change in state law, it would not need to be approved by voters, moving forward as soon as those two votes take place. Starting in March of 2028, additional service would ramp up, with the full 50% increase in service levels required to be implemented by 2030. ~ Two council meetings in November and the transit sales tax in Everett doubles, with the full service increase not required until 2030. The 2025 law change is what keeps that off a ballot.

I’m at grass lawn park in Redmond. I was here last Saturday and there was a husky roaming the park. Today she is still here. She wont let anyone get close enough to see her collar. The maintenance guy who works here has apparently been trying to call animal control, and non-emergency hotlines and no response from anyone. Does anyone recognize this dog or know this dog? EDIT: maintenance guy told me that a lot of people have called about this dog, told him that animal control has the number for her owners but nothing has been done. What that means? Idk. I just know I’ve called all the hotlines, got a photo, and so far she’s still here.

I have a sudden yearning for coffee cake but am too lazy to make my own. Where would I go to satisfy my coffee cake cravings?

Anyone else hearing this guy constantly starting up his red convertible charger day in and day out? Sometimes it sounds like he’ll start it up and shut it off just to start it up again. Most of the time he’ll just let it idle for like 30 minutes and not go anywhere. Its crazy loud and super annoying

I just moved and touring apartments in the area. Living in downtown, cap hill, etc is not in my budget but I want to close-ish to the city. I toured an apartment right off the freeway in Shoreline and by the LINK, and I loved the apartment and the area itself, but is it too far north? I was looking at a few spots in Queen Anne and Roosevelt, which are maybe slightly more expensive and a bit tighter on my budget. I’ll also be working in multiple cities around the greater Seattle area so maybe Shoreline is a bit of best of both worlds? Any input or advice between the two areas would be greatly appreciated!
