We got a chance to tour the new Amtrak Cascades Airo trainsets yesterday, and we wanted to share with you. I ended up getting a lot more videos than photos, so if you want to see more features check out our post on Instagram (@wsdot) or TikTok (@washingtonstatedot). Onboard, you’ll find more comfortable seating options, an updated cafe, and improved accessibility features. You’ll get your chance to ride starting Sept. 30, when the first two trainsets will begin operating four daily trips between Vancouver, B.C., and Eugene. NORTHBOUND - Train 516: Seattle —> Vancouver, B.C. (8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.) - Train 508: Eugene —> Seattle (4:30-10:50 p.m.) SOUTHBOUND - Train 503: Seattle —> Eugene (7:10 a.m.-1:48 p.m.) - Train 519: Vancouver, B.C. —> Seattle (4:45-9:10 p.m.) Additional new Amtrak Cascades trainsets will enter service through 2027.

The kid is just big enough that they are ripe for pumpkin season, but still very small (not yet in preK). They would get a kick out of running in a straw bail labyrinth and pumpkin field, but even a medium corn maze would end in tears for LO and parents before nap time. Which of the fall farm venues is best for this age range? Prefer to go south rather than north, but willing to travel.

Hi everyone! My partner and I are visiting Seattle at the end of October for our anniversary. We are staying in the Belltown area for a long weekend. We are both in our twenties, and want to have fun taking in the city and have a romantic dinner. What restaurants, areas, places, etc. would you recommend? Thank you so much in advance!!

Is there going to be a new restaurant (or anything) in the old Blu Sardinia space? I heard they had someone who wanted to go in there when Blu closed but it didn't come together. Why is it still empty? It's been well over a year.

Hi All- looking for anyone who has had local carpenters or customer-closet companies do work in their home? Looking to add some shelving and drawers into a reach-in closet and walk-in closet. Northwest Closets is one that keeps coming up in my research. Has anyone used California closets before? Any feedback or recommendations would be great! Pictures if you have any.

Lost Saturday night (9/26) on 18th St in Capitol Hill: my mom's UW Huskies varsity letterman blanket. Purple and gold with the W logo and Big Ten mark. It has "Kristy Richard" sewn onto it in stitched letters, which makes it easy to identify. It was inside a clear stadium bag — the bag is still there but the blanket is gone, so someone took it out. It was a gift from my mom and means a lot to me. Reward if found, no questions asked. Please DM me if you saw or picked it up.

I am curious to see if there are any local groups that get together to discuss investment strategies. I have been an investing in index funds but want to explore some high risk high reward options for a small monthly bet in the market. Also open to getting together with a seasoned trader.

Got 90 on a 60 speeding ticket. I moved here recently, it is my first ticket. In some other places I have lived in, if you plead guilty and go to court, pay the court fees, they won’t count it. Trying to avoid raising my insurance. How does it work here? I have the option to plead guilty and ask for reduction, but I am not sure if that reduction includes my insurance won’t see it. Thanks!
