**Fellow Tacomans,** Asking you all to please look out for my friends Bible. He (lesson learned the hard way :( ) left his backpack in the back of their family car & had their window smashed & the backpack stolen. All he cares to retrieve back is his Bible in it: a letter from his grandma (since passed) , a letter from his Dad, the two first ultrasounds of their children & a Polaroid of his wife from their first date. Black leather Bible , ESV It's a long shot but we've seen crazier things happen thanks to reddit. If you see a book thrown on the side of the road, if you're at a thrift store in the book section, if you see a book sticking out of the trash can I hope you'll stop to just peek. If by some wonder you stole a lululemon backpack out of a trunk recently, really all they want is the bible back. Toss it back on the yard, no questions asked. It was in a lululemon back pack, stolen from the dometop area. Thanks in advance 🧡

Hello! I am a single mom in my low thirties, and I am looking for help with how to meet people in person. I'm not very outdoorsy or athletic, but I've been to a few meetups, joined a choir and a book club, and have been trying to get out there more. Online dating apps can be pretty demoralizing. I am liberal and do enjoy nerdier guys, though I don't have many nerdy interests myself. Any idea where single women can go or ideas of groups to join to meet new friends and potential partners, especially those in their 30s with kids or wanting kids? Thanks for any help you can provide!

I've been dating my partner for 4 years and we have lived together previously, so I thought we qualify as immediate family in Seattle so I wouldn't be forced to join the lease. However, the leasing agent says I must join the lease to become a leaseholder or else I won't be allowed and won't be granted keys. Is this correct for renting in Seattle? We are from out of state so we do not know Seattle renting laws well. What should I do as I'm afraid to argue back and face any retaliation since they are locked in the lease for the next year, and am unfamiliar with renting here.

It’s been nearly two decades since Sammamish adopted its Town Center Subarea Plan. And it’s been one year since the prior Council voted to consider the increase of the Town Center subarea to 4,000 housing units . At its Sept. 15 regular meeting, the City Council voted unanimously to redistribute its housing unit goals, previously concentrated in the Town Center, to already established “mixed use centers” around the City. https://sammamishlocalnews.substack.com/p/sammamish-city-council-pivots-away

According to conductors on Coast Starlight 14, a commuter train struck and killed someone on the tracks south of Tukwila. Waiting at least 1h for the coroner and replacement (commuter) crew. Google maps shows Starlight is stopped just south of WA-18.

I got the notice a few days ago about the work requirements for Apple health. I think they’re making it more complicated with this rule, as I am working out of my own music lesson business (income fluctuates based on if the people are out of town or not). With that being said, I’d like to join a group that can have impact in Washington state regarding our right to healthcare. Would love some names if there are any out there.
