Im looking for some good recommendations on a nail salon either in pierce county or close by. I’m specifically looking for somewhere that does dry pedicures. I’ve been seeing those more and more online and I’m looking to try it out.

Hey everyone! I’m 27M from the Philippines and I’ll be in Seattle starting October 27 for work. Anyone up for grabbing a quick bite or showing me around a bit? Happy to bring something from the Philippines if you’re craving anything!

I have a ticket to attend a show on October 11th at Mahall's and have no clue what to expect. It's a Sunday show so not sure what the vibe will be. I've never been to a concert there before and not sure what the etiquette is? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I walked past an older couple who said their orange cat got out of their car on Fuhrman Ave E. Posting here for visibility in case anyone finds it. It is a pretty busy road :/

I’ve lived in many cities in my life, but only in Seattle (in every neighborhood I’ve lived in) will USPS workers simply… not deliver mail if they feel they have a valid reason. My specific complaint is regarding name tags. Again, in every place I’ve lived in western WA, if I don’t put a sticker with my name on it in the mailbox the mail person will write “?” on every piece of mail then stop delivering after a week. I’ve never experienced this in any other city in the United States. Why does it happen here? Are mail workers really entitled to do this? Is there any way to hold a postal worker accountable for not delivering mail?

Was pleasantly surprised when I had to stop by the transit center and checked this place out on a whim. The coffee is pretty standard but the pastry case is to die for! I especially had low expectations for the lumpia but it seems to be legit. Does anyone know if they make these in house? (and if they do bulk orders?)

Hi All, We currently rent an apartment in a managed building in Seattle, and our lease is set to expire in mid-January, which is now less than 180 days away. As we are new to Seattle, I wanted to clarify my understanding of the lease renewal process and the applicable notice requirements. We have received an email explaining the general lease renewal process, but we have not yet received a formal lease renewal offer. Could you please advise us on how we should proceed and what our rights are in this situation? In particular: Is there a specific deadline by which the landlord must provide a lease renewal offer? If we do not receive a renewal offer, does our existing lease automatically convert to a month-to-month tenancy, or does this depend on the terms of our current lease? If the tenancy becomes month-to-month, would the rent remain the same, or can the landlord increase it? What restrictions apply to the amount and frequency of rent increases? We understand that Seattle has a 180-day notice requirement for housing-cost increases. Does that requirement apply separately from the 60–90 day lease-renewal period? We are originally from Ontario, Canada, where a fixed-term lease generally converts to a month-to-month tenancy after the initial term, and rent increases are subject to certain annual limits set by the government. We are trying to understand whether there is a similar process or comparable protection in Seattle/Washington. We would appreciate any guidance on how the renewal process works here and what we should expect as our lease expiration approaches. Thanks all!!!! :)
