Hi all, I am coming here to ask if anyone knows anywhere entry level that is hiring? My partner suffered from a horrible car accident and was at no fault of his own during his previous employment. This accident set us back quite a bit, and after a year of job searching, he has received little to no response through Indeed applications. Please let me know if anyone is actually hiring so I can finally breathe from the financial pressures of being the only person with an income. Thank you.

Looking to park overnight at the lynnwood city center station garage. I looked online and only saw that they say the parking limit is 24 hours. I’ll be there for less than that but just wanted to check if it’d be ok since i’ll be there overnight?
I'm new to the city and come from a city with a supposedly similar cost of living. I wanted to go to the grocery store to pick up some dinner supplies, I already had a few pieces at home so I thought I'd grab myself a beer, some cherry tomatoes and some tortillas to make a burrito. Simple enough. What I don't understand, is that this cost me $13? The same trip in London would cost me $5.10 after tax. Am I doing something wrong? I could go out and get myself a professionally cooked burrito for almost the same price as this, and then also not spend money on pots, pans, electricity, time, energy. What's going on?? Every store around me is some form of organic community cooperative that heals the world through the power of financial exploitation. Is this normal? Am I shopping wrong? This feels counterintuitive for a city of this size. I shouldn't have to drive 15 minutes to find a store that sells food at a "reasonable" price. I know America is an expensive country, moreso at the minute. I earn more than enough to cover this, but a punnet of cherry tomatoes, tortillas and a beer shouldn't cost more than half an hour salary at minimum wage? Am I going insane?
As a Seattle resident I've decided to capture Jimothy. I have 3 "squirrel traps" out already, going to set three more tonight. By the time you decide if I'm joking or not I may already have him (with luck). This will cement me as Seattle's first super villain, I'm going to be hated but famous. This week is going to be very fun.
Maybe you saw this post and want to know why there’s a weird sign in front of the grocery store. Maybe you’ve gotten one of those mass texts and don’t know what it’s about. Maybe you’re curious about electronic price tags . Maybe you’re just worried about what companies are doing with the personal information they collect about you. Seattle City Council will vote Tuesday, September 22 on Fair and Transparent Pricing. We’ll answer your questions about what it does and doesn't do, and how you can have your voice heard. Seattle thieves are now bundling their crimes in 2-for-1 specials.
The new Pinehurst station opens by where I live and it drives me crazy that this is the shortest walking route which REQUIRES you to use the Jackson Park golf course trail which is unpaved hiking trail and not bikeable through due to steep inclines. Talk about accessibility problems. The shortest bike route has to take a long detour because NE 133rd St is cut off by the Thorton Creek Natural Area Park with no even gravel path through. Then NE 130th St is cut off by private property and the Licorice Fern Natural area also without a gravel path through. It's too heavily brushed to walk through. What is so hard about improving the existing Jackson Park Trail? Like guys come on. We spent so much money for a statin and this giant ass golf course prevents anyone to the East from easily walking to it. To add insult to injury, it's faster for me to take a bus to the Northgate station than to walk to a station that ostensibly lives within walking distance. 10 minutes for a bus from here to Northgate. Wtf?
This is absolutely a long shot, but UPS delivered my package to an unknown location in Issaquah (I think?). This is the door for where it was delivered, so on the off chance the resident who lives here received a package today that wasn’t for them, please DM me and I can provide details to verify it’s my package! It contains items for my upcoming wedding and I’d really like to get it back 😭 thank you so much in advance!
Hey everyone, I'm going to be coming up to Seattle for the very first time and was wondering where some cool Seattle vibe bars are and am overall looking for cool stuff to do. I'm originally from Oakland, so I'm assuming I'm going to love the vibe regardless. I'm going to be with my partner and will be in the city for a week!
Hi, WA is the most beautiful state and it also has a ton of cool rocks. Is there anyone who knows of meetups or something similar for rockhounding? Trying to be less alone while exploring all over the state.
