Hello everyone! I no longer have an apartment, and I need a place to stay. I barely have any money to my name due to only being able to work one day a week at my local McDonald's, so, for the time being, the most I can offer to trade for the room is my ability to cook, clean, do laundry, and perform minor home repairs. If anyone is interested in taking me in, feel free to comment or DM me directly.

My wife is expecting twins and we’re planning a scheduled C section at Overlake Bellevue For anyone who delivered there recently: How was your C-section/L&D and postpartum experience? What is their typical delayed cord clamping mins? Would anything change for twins? On the internet I am hearing the medical team is usually quick on asking baby to be bathed immediately/ not much skin to skin etc, would Overlake give hard time on these? What does Overlake provide for mom and babies, and what should we pack in hospital bad Are there things they’re generous with or anything we should specifically ask for? How was the nursing/lactation support? Anything you wish you had known or done differently? Would especially appreciate recent 2024–2026 experiences. Thanks! #obgyn #labor

Hi everyone, I [M22] moved up to Seattle from Tacoma this summer and have mostly stuck to my friendships from college since relocating, but I’m hoping to get out and broaden my social circle more. I enjoy hiking, cycling, rock climbing, alternative music, reading, and hitting up cafes. What are some good places to meet like-minded people in the city? I’m fairly introverted but I know I’ve gotta put myself out there more, any tips or recommendations are welcome.

Yes. You read correctly. This was posted on the Everett Wa Facebook page with a photo of a police officer catching a large black spider in a tall clear glass from a kitchen sink I can't post images as I dont use the app, I use web, plus, photos of spiders are creepy but here's a snippet from the Facebook post: "We're starting a new regular series called EPD Police Blotter to give our community a closer look at some of the calls, cases and police work happening across Everett each week. This is just a snapshot - not a complete list of incidents - but we hope it helps keep our community informed about the important work we do protecting and serving the great city of Everett. Learn more and subscribe by visiting: everettwa.gov/epdblotter. ‐‐--‐-------------- >> Sergeant Ross Catches and Releases Giant Spider Sgt. Ross responded to a home in North Everett where a mother and her young children reported a large spider in their kitchen sink. The spider was taken into custody (in a cup) by Sgt Ross and promptly released into a bush in the alley." SOMEBODY called 911 for a SPIDER? Aren't there rules about misusing 911? 🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭 editing to include a link to the post on FB https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1MFagq3XvN/

Do you know of a really good vascular surgeon? About 10 years ago I had bilateral vein ablation with stab phlebectomies, and it's time to have them treated again. I'm in Bellingham, but realize it's probably best to travel to Seattle for the right doctor. I'd especially appreciate recommendations based on personal experience. Thanks!

Hello all! I'm new to reddit and excited to jump in - so here is my first post I’m part of the Tacoma–Mannheim group, and we’re trying to grow a fun, people‑to‑people connection between our two cities. We already have a youth pen pal exchange through two schools, and hosting a virtual guest speaker from a Mannheim university — so things are starting to open up in neat ways Mannheim’s excited to connect with Tacoma, too, and they’ve already shared some really sweet responses on their end. If you’d like to take a peek, here’s the link: https://www.reddit.com/r/mannheim/s/uEHZnHmxdv Now we’re hoping to start an adult pen pal program so people in both cities can exchange snail mail - letters, art, postcards, whatever feels fun. If you’d like to join the pen pal program or/and this exchange, you can DM me, leave a comment, or sign up through the link in our brand‑new Instagram bio. @ tacomamannheim
