ATHLEISURE COLLECTIVE has inked a deal to bring a new wave of wellness to the Port of Everett’s Waterfront Place, marking the company’s first expansion and second location in Snohomish County. On Sept. 10, the Port of Everett Commission authorized a new 10-year lease for approximately 4,000-square-feet and surrounding patio in Marina Village. The location is situated along the South Marina promenade between Anthony’s Homeport and Woodfire, and is expected to include three group fitness studios, a health focused café and retail offerings.

Talked to PAWS about the situation and they asked me to bring it in. I have never caught a goose before. Headed up there now to confirm it won’t fly (I got pretty close to it before and did not attempt to) and then capture. I’ll be at the west end of the circular path (near the entrance on Roosevelt) wearing a shirt with fruit on it. UPDATE: As of 4pm I cannot find the goose. Hopefully it either flew off or got rescued by someone else. Thanks to everyone for the advice and being willing to show up to help! ETA: I followed the instructions on the Washington State wildlife page, and talking to PAWS and being instructed to bring it in was where I ended up. I think animal control only intervenes if humans are in danger? It’d be lovely if we had a public service that rescued geese, but I don’t think we do. Also, it’s a juvenile greater white-fronted goose, not a Canada goose. They are much smaller. Unsure if they are less aggressive. Not broken up about not having to find out. https://preview.redd.it/d256vqnja4vh1.jpg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b9ab85be21e6f6be2f20bc03dac3d63d1b1cde44

Hello all! my wife and I are looking to sell our home (I know it’s not the best time to sell, but our mortgage on top of our childcare is costing us more than what we can afford). Can anyone recommend a realtor they have worked with in the past that knows the Kent market well?

I’m a neurodivergent person currently living in cap hill area. one aspect of my neurodivergence is having to deal with misophonia. I know I choose to live in a noisy city and that’s on me, honestly it might not be forever, but for now the pros outweigh the cons. I really love living here. the specific issue I’m having is the effing planes that fly above me all night long. sometimes my brain is able to tune them out, but sometimes my brain notices them and no amount of ear plugs and white noise can tune them out. I end up with sleepless nights, and I’m tired of it. does anyone else deal with this? and has anyone noticed neighborhoods that are less affected by the SeaTac flight path?

I am out of work due to a severe job injury last year, with several surgeries so far. Luckily my employer when they released me paid for my health insurance through the end of October. I got signed up for medicaid services that will start November 1st. Now seeing that there will be work requirements starting January 1st to keep medicaid. Since I am getting payments from L&I while still getting treatment for my injury, I still cannot work because of it. (Not that I am not trying to find something that does not require me to do anything physically). Contacted Washington Healthplanfinder, and sounds like I will lose coverage, likely at the end of january, if I cannot work a certain amount of hours. They said to reach out again at the start of the new year, to see if there are any alternatives where I will not lose medical coverage. And for those of you saying I am a "moocher", this is the first time in my life needing medicaid. And I am over 50.
