My partner & I went to the Oregon Coast for the holiday week last year, and enjoyed the buffet at Camp 18. It was fun, but we'd like to try something different this year. We'd like to explore the NE corner more, so it's high on my list. We have very simple tastes, so don't need anything gourmet, artisanal, reimagined, or anything like that. As long as they have roast turkey, mashies, and pie, we'll be happy. Any suggestions for a place that serves a basic yet tasty turkey meal?

In august me and my best friend (who came from out of town) received a tattoo from a artist in SODO and we both paid about $400 each (including tip)from a small script tattoo on our foot. We both have almost 60 tattoos in between the both of us so we are not strangers to what to expect and the care to put into aftercare. We noticed our tattoo started significantly fading and in my case just disappeared and reached out to the artist within a month of getting the tattoo. I had to message them 3 times to get a response and they only resolve given was that she can "touch it up" and to let her know our schedule. I responded within 2 hours of her text that do to the level of fading that the tattoo was not fixable and my friend who lived out of state would no be able to just come back for another session. While we were told some level of fading would occur, nothing pointed to this level of severity. I was then ghosted by this artist for 3 weeks. I finally had enough after seeing them post on TikTok everyday knowing that i was being purposely ignored (tried insta dms etc) and commented on their most recent post. I was met with excuse of family problems and having to travel. She then sent me an obviously AI message accusing me and my friend of participating in rigorous activities and damaging the tattoos on purpose and that coming to social media was rude and slandering her business. She says she no longer feels comfortable fixing the tattoo or giving us a refund as she put in time and supplies to give us these "works of art". SO now after spending almost $1000 me and my friend are just left to get these fixed by another artist or tattoo removal which will cost even more money. I feel bad in the sense of understanding artist and small business struggles but it wasn’t a small amount of money and the response to the priority of clients.

Hello, I am currently a premed postbacc student at SCC and I am struggling since there are not enough STEM resources, especially in person. When I was finishing my bachelor of science I took all in person classes and I spent about four hours every day in the tutoring center studying and doing homework where I could ask a question at almost any time and get help. I'm having a hard time at SCC since the classes are mostly online with in person labs, office hours are usually online, and the tutoring center is lacking in availability of STEM tutors. The tutoring center has zero physics tutors and I just called and they said they cannot get me in for chemistry until Tuesday (after my exam). I did not have this problem at the community college or university I have previously attended, but I am new to the Seattle area so I'm hoping to find a school that's a better fit for me.

Hi everyone! My husband and I live in the Fremont/Wallingford area, and we’re expecting a baby in April 2027! 🍼 Our family will be visiting from out of town to help us with the baby, and some relatives will be staying for several weeks or even a month at a time. They’ll be coming and going throughout the first few months, so we’re trying to figure out the best accommodation options. We’re looking for furnished rentals (weekly or monthly), extended-stay hotels, or any other options that might make sense. We’ll likely need multiple places at different times for different family members, so flexibility is important.

My gardening needs have changed and I’ve been going through my seed binder and I have a ton of partially used packets of seeds that I’m not going to need. Is there a place I can donate these seeds? The vast majority are flower seeds, but there are a few tomato, bean, and gourd seeds mixed in there too.
