Used to stay in Sea-Bel and used to love visiting Gene Coulon Park and Microsoft campus for fall colors. Now they are pretty far, wanted to see if you have any recommendation for places to visit for fall colors in and around Everett (30-40 mins drive is ok) Thank you

Going down the list of restaurants to visit before exiting Seattle and a friend took me to Fonda La Catrina for lunch yesterday. Perfect place to go in the midst of a grey and rainy day, for one, but my friend was happy to see this place doesn't charge one of those stupid surcharges that have become so popular here. Assuming the employees are making at least $20 per hour, but he still tipped 20% (not sure how everyone feels about this, but as former waitstaff, we still feel it's right to do, lol!). Great ambience and vittles and how about that "margarita flight", lol!

Hi, What are some places to take my dog? We go to chambers to sit in the grass in the early morning or late evening, or walk wapato. But we need more places for him to sniff. Any suggestions? I think Wright Park has too many people for him as hes a bit reactive to other dogs. Not a mean dog, he just wants their attention to play lol thank you in!!! Also open to places outside of tacoma.

A motorist struck and killed a hobo early Saturday morning in Ballard. Around 4 a.m., a man called 911 to say he had hit a pedestrian while driving north on 15th Avenue Northwest, according to Seattle Police Department’s police blotter . Medics from the Seattle Fire Department arrived and found a dead man just north of Northwest 51st Street in the middle of the northbound lanes of 15th Avenue Northwest, according to the blotter. “A witness told police that the victim had been acting erratically while walking northbound on the sidewalk,” according to police. “He suddenly ran into the road and was struck by the driver’s vehicle.” The motorist stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, and he was evaluated by a drug recognition expert, who didn’t suspect impairment on the driver’s behalf, according to the blotter.

I was driving east yesterday morning (Oct 9) from Seattle to Ellensburg and in that area of the pass where it goes down to only two lanes and the barriers are really close to the lane edges I narrowly missed being hit by a black truck that lost control and eventually flipped. It was slightly traumatizing watching this happen in my rear view mirror and now I’m trying to find info on the accident online and not finding any. Is the driver okay? Did any other cars collide with them?

First the $150,000 flagpole in front of Dennis King's business, and now cost overruns for two archways into the city initially proposed by Dean Johnson? Why are they wasting taxpayer money like this? Johnson is also part of a local private lobbying consulting company and there are questions of if he's getting any kickbacks from this project. https://www.thenewstribune.com/news/local/community/puyallup-herald/ph-news/article317542597.html

Oct 9, Redmond, in the rain, I saw two companies of Canadians flying south in standard V formation, probably to the flood plains of south Washington/Columbia River Flood Plains, Oregon's Willamette Valley, and Klamath Lake. The two Vs are just part of a larger Corps, heading to a single destination, and it will arrive enmass, all within 1 hour of the first lead scouting unit. We are definitely in the fall season with. the beginning of the rains, arrival of the salmon, 45 degree nights, fall colors, and the wintering Canadians. to the Mods. Migrating Canadian Geese is unique to the Pacific Flyway, not to the foothills of the Cascades nor to Eastern Washington.
