With new roundabouts popping up all over, it's pretty clear that no one actually knows how to properly use them. I used the new pair at 145th above I5, and it in infuriating. It's clear that Americans need to learn how to navigate the things. People are approaching these things and absolutely panicking. So. Roundabouts. They're not red lights. They're not stop signs. They're not uncontrolled intersections. They're more like freeway entrances, where you merge in and out of traffic that keeps moving, but in the round. When you approach a roundabout, do not stop and wait for a big clear hole to open up as if you're approaching a stop sign. If at all possible, do not stop - just keep moving and ease your car into the moving traffic, like a zipper merge. When you get into the roundabout, go slowly. It's not "My turn! Hit the gas and bomb across the intersection!" as if you just got a green light. Slow down and assume that everyone else is going to do the slow merge into moving traffic that you did a moment ago. Let people in, and make sure traffic keeps moving, slowly & steadily. The whole point of a roundabout is that traffic keeps moving. Everyone needs to go slowly, and let people in and out and necessary, and you pay attention. When used correctly, the whole thing goes smoothly and is SO MUCH BETTER than the red light back up that used to collect at that intersection.

Hi there, I have a friend that volunteers at the Kent animal shelter and they are scheduling to euthanize a dog after just a week that is not aggressive but responding very negatively to the shelter environment after being found title to a pole. It feels like a very early decision and an unnecessary one. If anyone has any resources to dog rescues that are willing to take on another dog, it just feels like such a shame for this dog to be euthanized, especially since they are willing to transfer him.

Hey everyone! I’m a 28M and fairly new to the Washington area. I’m going through a difficult season in my life and marriage. My wife and I are currently separated, and while I’m still holding onto hope and praying for reconciliation, I’m also trying to use this time to grow as a man, a husband, and in my relationship with God. I’ve been exploring Christianity more seriously and would really love to connect with other Christian men, especially husbands who have experienced separation, reconciliation, or other serious challenges in their marriages. I’m not necessarily looking for someone to tell me everything will work out or that my marriage will be restored. I’m really just hoping to find people who understand what this journey feels like, can share their own experiences, offer wisdom, pray together, and maybe build some genuine friendships along the way. I’d also love to find an older Christian husband willing to offer mentorship, particularly someone who’s navigated marital difficulties and learned from those experiences. I’m generally free on weekends and after work. I’m open to meeting for coffee, Bible studies, prayer groups, church events, volunteering, hiking, or just having meaningful conversations. If anyone knows of local Christian men’s groups, marriage support communities, or would simply like to connect, I’d really appreciate hearing from you. Thank you for reading and God Bless!

Hi, 35yo male planning to go to Q spa in lynnwood this or next weekend and am looking for company - well mainly I have an entry pass for two people from groupon, so wondering if someone would like to come along and we split cost (would be cheaper than their usual price) You can go separate way once inside or i don’t mind sticking together for a while, chat and connect. DM if serious
