Your dog is really cute but her face isn’t blurred. I don’t know if you’re concerned about her being identified or doxxed, so I wanted to let you know. You may want to ask if she’s consented to having her photo immortalized on Maps.

Hey everyone, by chance have anyone here booked rehearsal time with Underhill Studios in Capitol Hill? If so, how was the experience? I ask because some friends and I have been rehearing/noodling around there for the past few months and have had a good time with the space itself but mixed experiences with ownership. The place has great reviews on Google, but ofc not everyone leaves a review, so was looking for a sanity check on some of their practices. Namely a few things: - Booked a two-hour session in one of their studios with a keyboard among a few other pieces of equipment. The keyboard wasn't there when we got there, and it took about a hour and a half into the session until someone came down with it. - Our first session the owner stated he likes to be there to walk new guests through their check-in, check-out process, but he ended up not being able to make it. Partially due to this, we missed our check out items. Owner said he'd usually fine us somewhere in the ballpark of $120, but since it was our first time, he'd cut it down to ~$20. (TBF to him, the steps were buried at the bottom of a long email he'd sent me a few days prior, but a "hey check that email!" would've been nice). - Got charged ~$30 today for taking too long to clean up the space after our session. Session was 7:30pm-9:30pm, technically the door wasn't locked until 9:38pm. 9:30pm-10:00pm is an available slot on their website, but no one was waiting for the studio and it hadn't been booked. --- The second and third points are "well actually ☝️" scenarios and some people will disagree with me being annoyed with this, I get it, but just wanted to gauge on whether anyone else had similar experiences. The place is awesome and glad it's around, but this type stuff has me second-guessing whether friends and I should try finding a less strict practice space.
Hey everyone, where do you guys go for interior-only car cleaning on the eastside? My car isn’t super dirty or anything, but it’s got the usual crumbs, dust, dirt in the floor mat grooves, cup holders, etc. I just want a good vacuum + wipe down of the dash/doors/console/cup holders and interior windows. I don’t need a full detail or anything with shampoo. Trying to figure out if it’s worth just paying someone to do this every few weeks or if I should buy a little Bissell from Costco and do it myself 😂
A dozen congressional Democrats are asking the U.S. Forest Service for answers after the agency was accused of coordinating with Immigration and Customs Enforcement to arrest five men who were camping on federal land in Snohomish County last month. Family members told King 5 that U.S. Forest Service rangers were the first to contact the group at the Red Bridge Campground off the Mountain Loop Highway, east of Granite Falls. The rangers allegedly collected identification from some of the group before ICE agents arrived hours later to arrest the five men. "... we are concerned that the U.S. Forest Service (USFS) is misusing taxpayer dollars by neglecting their mission and directing career staff to prioritize immigration enforcement on federal public lands," the letter said in part. ~ Collecting IDs at a campground is not land management. The answer due Oct. 15 is whether anyone signed off on making it one.
There seems to be an increase of dog owners leaving their dogs without leash, whether it’s on a school track, or on walking trails (marked leash animals only) or walking around the neighborhood. Reported a few folks to animal control but not sure if those folks were talked to. The trend is concerning. Went for a run today around the neighborhood and trail and saw 2 dogs without leash. Have others noticed this trend? Talking about the power line trail and Redmond middle school track
Transcript: My name is Evan Reed, and I am a Downtown Everett resident. On September 14th, the Puget Sound Business Journal published an article titled "Everett faces losing AquaSox and jeopardizing stadium project." To summarize, despite the City moving literal mountains to make this project happen—whether we even want the stadium is a whole other debate— but the owners of the AquaSox, 7th Inning Stretch LLC, claim that if stadium funding is not resolved soon, they will have no choice but to leave town. The City of Everett never needed a new stadium, but the AquaSox required one to meet new Major League Baseball facility standards. Even though our city was never in a financial position to make this happen, they still got what they ultimately demanded from us. Yet, they remain uncooperative on financial commitments and refuse to sign a lease guaranteeing they will even stay in Everett. Look at the extraordinary damage we are inflicting on ourselves in addition to this proposal. The budget cuts, municipal consolidations, and dangerous service gaps this council has implemented are not temporary inconveniences; they leave deep, permanent scars on our neighborhoods, destroy our social safety net, and degrade our quality of life for decades. To make matters worse, while residents absorb these losses, we are siloing millions in public dollars and burning through hundreds of staff hours for a project with zero guarantees. Imagine the catastrophic double blow if we gut public services, sink tens of millions into land and infrastructure, and 7th Inning Stretch walks away anyways, leaving US with crippled services and millions in burned public funds. Today, I am urging the Mayor and City Council to stop letting this ownership group strong-arm our city. Page one of the stadium relocation playbook is always the same: threaten to leave unless taxpayers foot the bill. 7th Inning Stretch owns three separate baseball franchises—they have more than enough resources to fund a stadium if they truly wanted to, yet our city leadership continues to bow to their scare tactics. Council, please issue a clear, unyielding ultimatum: either 7th Inning Stretch steps up right now with a signed lease and a substantial financial commitment that protects our taxpayers and makes this stadium a reality, or they can kick rocks. If they refuse to meet us halfway, we must walk away from this raw deal, protect our budget, and let them take their persistent relocation threats and below .500 baseball team somewhere else. Thank you. ------------------ Have thoughts? Share it with City Council: [email protected]
I’ve lived here my whole life and always have a had a burning question. Are women’s minds as dirty as men’s? I mean I’m sure it isn’t the same for every man but if I see a female who’s showing very attractive features; face, T, A, etc. my mind goes directly into the gutter and internal thoughts wander. So do women think the same?? In that aspect atleast?

Hi all! I am currently 6 months pregnant and due on December 25th of 2026 and curious if by that point I’ll qualify for paid family and medical leave… For context: I’ve worked at this company since June 23rd, 2026. It’s a remote role for an international business - I only mention this because I know there’s certain qualifications regarding how many people are employed within a certain mile range. I work full-time, 40 hours a week. I was off for 15 working days in August for international travel. I was self employed for two years before this role. So no additional hours/qualifying quarters. Where I’m tripped up here is the 12 qualifying months - which implies that I would have needed to be employed by this company for 12 months to qualify? Anything helps! Just trying to plan for my time away after the baby comes. Thank you!
These two people came up to my sisters apartment in Seattle. Before ringing the doorbell, they held their arms up like this for almost 30 seconds. Just thought it was really odd. Does anyone happen to know anything?
