I'm moving to North Admiral soon with my family (young tots) and am curious what experiences (restaurants, bars, sightseeing, nature/hiking, etc) are loved by locals and either aren't well known (because they're not the most touristy) or just wouldn't necessarily come up when researching online about the area! Same with any great community groups and things to know / tips such! Give me your best pls! We can’t wait and are so excited!

Copy paste from city website (link below): The Balancing Act tool is Tacoma’s interactive budget simulator. It gives Tacoma residents a chance to better understand the City’s budget challenges and the difficult choices involved in balancing spending and revenue. The City is facing a projected $40 million General Fund gap for 2027–2028. Using this tool, residents can explore the budget, adjust spending and limited revenue options, and share where they believe resources should be prioritized. Most spending categories can be adjusted by up to 20%, while some areas cannot be changed because of legal or financial restrictions. Your input will help the City better understand community priorities while giving residents a clearer picture of the services the City provides and the trade-offs required to close the budget gap. https://tacoma.gov/government/departments/management-and-budget-office/2027-2028-biennial-budget/balancing-act/ And the insta video I saw about it: https://igshare.me/v/cr_DeIBwuayzn6

Sooooo…if you’ve been there you know who I am talking about. I am genuinely curious why she does what she does. Also I’m pretty sure all the new signs are just for her. Any ideas on mother goose?

I'm really sick of it. When did this happen? Every night there are 5-10 RVs and Campervans parked overnight. I was walking my dog with my daughter last night and there was a couple having an extremely loud sex session in their beat up van with their worn out shocks squeaking loudly as they moaned in pleasure. Truly vile. There needs to be restrictions in place to prevent this from happening!

Did you leave your phone on the route 45 bus heading to UW medical center? Wonder no longer and know that your phone rests its weary head at the North base in Shoreline.

Hey everyone had a quick question regarding Kremwerk. They have events this weekend. I bought early bird tickets to IMPACT! KARAN! And saw that there was another dj set of DISCO DUST feat. Eddie C. Was wondering since there are multiple rooms do I have to buy separate tickets or can one ticket get you to the other sets?

my aunt referred me to work at fred hutch as a cna in infusion back in august. just now, i was checking my application status, and saw that the job listing was removed. according to fred hutch’s website, they will keep the job listing up until the position has been filled. my application status is still “received submission”so they haven’t looked at it yet. is it possible that they hired someone without looking at all the applications that were sent in?

I parked in the first parking spot on the right side of central way after the turn into lakeshore plaza this past Sunday to watch the Seahawks game at moss bay hall. I might have dropped my key fob. The Seahawks were playing the chargers. We left at halftime and I might have dropped them on the passenger side by the curb. It is a KIA fob. If anyone picked them up that’d be sweet to know. Thanks
