Hi, I'm an international student currently taking pre-Nursing at Bellevue College. I want to apply for FALL 2027 ADN here. I'm thinking of doing NAC in a private place to have it completed sooner. The problem is I can't work even with a NAC license but I need healthcare experience to increase my chance of getting into the ADN program. I've been looking for healthcare volunteer opportunities around the area but every hospital that I have looked into so far has their application closed already ( likely open in Jan 2027, but the ADN FALL 2027 application starts in mid March to the end of April, I don't think I'll be able to accumulate enough volunteer hours by the time I apply to earn the maximum 2 points for healthcare experience) Usually, how many points will get you into ADN program at Bellevue College? I would appreciate any advice or recommendation you can give you. p/s: there's been some changes in the criteria. for example: you won't get one extra point for doing your NAC at Bellevue College, and TEAS is only 2 points max

I have three cases of Sheba cuts in gravy cat food my cat can't eat, and I can't return. Shelters don't seem to want it. Is there anybody I can donate this to, or who could use it? Thanks.

Our assigned school is the Redmond elementary. But I’m interested in my twin daughters going to either Horace mann/norman Rockwell/Albert Einstein/Clara Barton schools in the hill. Could I apply to the schools mentioned? And are the chances of getting both my kids in the same school possible? What are the opinions about the mentioned schools with respect to culture, activities, parents associations, volunteer opportunities for parents, studies and teachers, etc! Thank you for the responses in advance!

My family and I love music of all kinds. My kids are learning music from guitar to piano to trumpet to electronic music production etc. I realized that I have not been getting them much live music exposure by professional/semi-professional performers. There's something about feeling the music in a live performance... I really miss it Does anyone have any recommendations for places to bring kids for live music performances? Seattle has tons of stuff but I am looking for stuff in Tacoma or Pierce county. (Also it would be great if I don't have to spend $100s on tickets. It would have been cool to go see some of the concerts at the Puyallup State Fair but the tickets were $$$)

We have previously used a Marriott Vacation Club associated insurance provider for years (TravelEx), but they no longer provide coverage in Washington (and New York). Does anyone know what changed in the law for them to stop? Does anyone have any suggestions for other insurance providers?

Hi! I just started collecting Pokemon cards because my 5 year old nephew does, and he wanted to do it as a family. I am not collecting for the chase or the value. I have picked a few pokemon or specific artists that I like and I am going for those. I know in other states there are shops that have shelves of common bulk boxes you can grab, sit down, and go through to purchase for like 5 cards for $1 or similar structures. I haven’t seen anything like that in the few card shops I have visited. I am looking for firsthand knowledge of a shop that offers something like that. Google picks up on shops with “bulk” but after researching it is usually just purchasing bulk. If anyone knows first hand or has knowledge of one locally, I would love to dig! TIA! (And yep…. I have already dug thru all my nephews bulk! 🤣)

Looks like the popular rec league Brodie is coming to Seattle this winter. I have friends in Canada that play in this and swear by it being the best league they've played in. They give you sweet uniforms, track stats, take photos/video, make it a real league experience. Sounds like a great opportunity for the basketball players in here and wanted to spread the word/see if anybody else knew anything about them? https://www.brodierec.com/locations/seattle-capitol-hill

New to WS. Looking to make friends with similar interests. Im female in my 30’s. I enjoy legal analysis/commentary, true crime pods, I watch The Lawyer You Know, Emily D Baker, Annie Elise, Law and Crime, etc on YouTube. I enjoy reading legal crime fiction books, keeping up with big pop culture related trials. Are there any groups, clubs for this sort of thing?
