I just lost my job and need to pay the bills. I'm a hard worker and have been a manager in sales before and did super well at it. That sadly didn't work out due to the company as a whole having to shut down, but I know I'm a hard worker and can pick things up quickly. My long term goal is to get paid as an apprentice for a trade but I'm still trying to figure out how to get my foot in the door there
I’m visiting Seattle from further inland and I’m looking for someone I can trust with appraisals of some Asian artifacts that I’ve acquired over the years. Not sure who to talk to and I won’t be there very long, just hoping someone might have some experience getting things appraised. Thank you.
Hi :) I feel like everyone is a pro skier here so this probably won’t land. Looking to get into skiing 😅 Anyone want to plan on doing some beginner lessons at Snoqualmie together? I’m 30/F and in Seattle. Would also need you to drive but will give $$ for driving:gas :p
Went to Union Bay Natural Area thinking I would do some total beginner bird-watching, and I didn’t spot a single one until turned the corner and there was a bald eagle in the tree. First pic is cropped. Second one is uncropped with the distortion effect around the edges. Third is with the regular phone camera for comparison. This was roughly at the southeast corner of the long walking path that goes through UBNA. Also I’ve lived here for 27 years and I’d never heard of Union Bay Natural Area until someone tweeted something about “UBNA” and I looked it up.
I’ve noticed for years that the pay app says a higher rate than what is noted on the sign, with a note at the bottom saying “taxes and fees not included”, however several places in Cap Hill charge FOURTY DOLLARS ($40) for overnight parking where it’s noted as only $20. That’s an insane price markup, and i don’t know how they can be getting away with this. Are others experiencing this, or reached out to the company and/or the city?

My parking spot was SP+ and they got acquired by metropolis and they tack on weird fees and increased prices without enough notice. My previous account people from SP+ were great but no longer there. Does metropolis have any physical offices or registered businesses, or hard copy mails with legal letterhead I can take them to claims with? For the life of me I can’t seem to find a physical address to send them notice and they refuse to send me my bill via physical mail as business mail. Bit lost so any ideas or tips, or experience I would really appreciate it… weirded out that it feels scammy and scant of info. Thank you!
