Hi all! We have a set of original to the house doors in our 1905 Lakewood home. We would like to get them restored- any suggestions for a company or individual who would be good for this?

There's no reason on Montlake or other spots where traffic enters/leaves major arterials to have multiple short stop lights which forces traffic to stop awkwardly and bus routes to be jammed up. The amount of times we couldn't turn left on the bus or in our car because the light is awkwardly green but turns red while another light is turning red down the line causing cars to be STOPPED in the middle of a cross is just dumb. https://wsdotblog.blogspot.com/2026/03/a-new-spin-in-kirkland-northeast-85th.html I went through the Kirkland roundabouts a bit ago, and they were a little confusing but still way better than multiple stoplights . They are safer for everyone bicyclists included, improve traffic and the data supports it. https://www.cnu.org/publicsquare/2024/11/21/how-roundabouts-transformed-carmel https://eri.iu.edu/erit/case-studies/carmel-indiana-roundabouts.html https://youtu.be/012fMI3TdRo Getting downvoted. The data shows these are great things.

Any recs for a good small business (gross bw $100-250k/year) bank in Seattle area? I’m sick of US Bank admin barriers and ticky tack bs. Mainly just need easy mobile deposits and transfers, ideally with better than .05% interest on savings. Thanks in advance.

This is my first Halloween in WA ever and idk what to do but don’t wanna spend my first one here inside. I’m over 21. Anything fun that’s not family related for Halloween in this town? I’d most likely be going to these places alone so I don’t want to be stuck around families and I want to have fun where children aren’t around lol If you have suggestions in other cities I’m down for that too

Hi! Next year May 2, 2027 - We’ll be disembarking Norwegian Cruise by 7AM, let’s say we’ll be done by 9:00AM. We want to go to Mt. Rainier after, is that too late? We plan to rent a car from the Airport or whatever is near in Pier 66. How it goes; 7-9AM : Disembark NCL 9-10AM: Time allotted to get rental car and stuff 10:30AM: Drive to Paradise center ? 12:30 NN: Arrive Mt Rainier Entrance by this time 6PM: Go back Is this enough time? is 10:30am departure to Paradise too late already? I have no idea how much time we should allot for this daytrip to Mt. Rainier. Just to share, we won’t be hiking the mountain, we saw we can opt to experience the trail instead, the falls, etc. Is May 2 a good weather to go there?

Lots of important information, to be sure. The meeting is at 6PM in the Council Chambers on 44th. As always, you can watch online or see the archived meeting here .
