I have a couple of friends coming to visit and it would be nice to treat them to a nice cigar and a drink. Are there any casual type lounge spots to smoke a cigar and have a cocktail? I have been looking and have only found spots that are exclusive & require a membership. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

"We have 21 vessels today, down from 24 in 2015," Nevey wrote. "Put all of that together and 21 ferries aren't enough. We need at least 24 to operate our current service." The first of those hybrid-electric boats isn't expected until 2030. The next vessels are due in 2031 and 2032. Across the first three quarters of this year, the Tillikum had 275 sailings completely cancelled out of 6,463 scheduled sailings. Mechanical problems on the aging ship accounted for 28% of the cancellations. ~ The Tillikum was built in 1958 and cannot retire until 2033, because three new boats are all the state has funded. Every cancelled sailing between now and then is a budget decision, not bad luck.

good morning! i wanted to give a bit of a warning/share my experience with the witches tea that gets hosted in october at the hotel sorrento for anyone who might be considering going. the ambiance in the hunt club is wonderfully decorated for halloween and that was truly the highlight. lots of people (myself included!) really dressed for the occasion and that was wonderful to see. other than that, it left a lot to be desired for $80 per person. for a 90 minute window, we got one pot of tea steeped with a tea bag (one bag for 20oz of water meant it was pretty weak), all three types of sandwiches were meager with really bad bread that were cut inconsistently, and the menu said there were red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting; but we ended up getting what tasted like betty crocker yellow cake with whipped cream frosting. the food didn’t even come out to tables until halfway through the tea time, so we sat for the first 45 minutes waiting for tea and not even getting a water refill. i don’t blame the servers, since it seemed like they did not have enough people working, and part of me wants to give them grace because it’s the first weekend-but they do this every october. the food was probably a 4/10 if i’m being generous (the chocolate mousse was delicious). i’m going to reach out to the hotel because that’s more effective than complaining on reddit. but it’s not a small chunk of change and i don’t think it was worth the expense, so i wanted to let others know.
