I came to this discovery on accident after looking for where that recent plane crash happened at Paine Field. I have never seen or noticed this before but now I am intrigued. I have driven by this location for decades and never noticed. Slightly to east of Mukilteo Blvd and Paine Field Blvd is an abandoned oval speedway. I would love to see it up close but it is closed off on Paine Field property. I tried searching historic race tracks in the air and looking through databases, but came up with nothing. I also searched the Mukilteo Historical Society website but also came up with nothing. I did find a comment from someone online saying they "used to race midgets" in Mukilteo and this is the only place that seems plausible. I did also find an article by the Mukilteo Beacon that says they know the source of the name "Mukilteo Speedway" but it is behind a paywall and I cannot see it. My next step is to visit the Everett Library and check out the PNW section if I cannot get good info or leads here. I love history and I find this interesting. Does anyone know anything about this racetrack, its name, when it opened/closed? Better yet did anyone here ever attend events there? It looks like a fun little oval and it's a shame it's been left to be overgrown by nature. To me, it seems like a reasonable source to the name "Mukilteo Speedway." Would love to learn from people who know! Thanks everyone!

This might be an unusual request, but I figured Reddit was probably as good a place as any to ask. One of the biggest things on my bucket list is to experience a barrel roll in an airplane at least once in my life. Not flying the plane myself—I just want to be a passenger and experience it. I have epilepsy and have dealt with seizures for essentially my entire life. I've had some very serious ones, and it has given me a somewhat dark sense of humor about mortality and a strong desire to actually do the things I've always dreamed about while I can. And for whatever reason, one of those things is: I want to go upside down in an airplane. 😂 I’m in Washington State, but I’d potentially be willing to travel for the right opportunity. I’m wondering if there are any aerobatic pilots, flight schools, or people in the aviation community who could point me toward someone who offers aerobatic experience flights and might be willing to work with someone who has epilepsy. Obviously, I would disclose my medical history completely and wouldn't expect anyone to do something they considered unsafe. I'm not looking for someone to bend aviation rules or take an unnecessary risk. I just want to find out whether there is a legitimate and safe way for me to cross this extremely specific thing off my bucket list. So… does anyone know a pilot who can make a girl go upside down in an airplane once before she kicks the bucket? 😂✈️

I want to find a good play house where the art director curates each season pushing limits and not afraid of making the audience uncomfortable and pondering over the ramifications of the story told. I like the big budget places too it's just fun to experience the smaller intimate theatres. Thanks.

I'm leaving for Japan on Tuesday, and just found out the place I had planned on going to (in the airport) charges a 15% fee. I'm wondering if there's any other options for same-day exchange, that are less expensive. My bank isn't an option at this point because they would need to order the currency. It seems there's so few places available to the public for currency exchange now, any suggestions?
