We only have about 14 days in Sept where the temps were above 70f, and only 14 of those had been at least partly sunny. So the vast majority of September was cool and cloudy. That's fine, but it's quite different from last year. Just wondering if this is typically how it is (just moved from Portland where we usually get a warm summer Mediterranean climate from June all the way through mid Oct) That's a solid 5 months of warm / hot weather in Portland, but in Seattle it has felt closer to just two

Hey R/issaquah, No sales pitch, just looking to network with other local businesses. Bonus points if another contracting/service based business. I manage my family's Mechanical contracting company (HVAC, gas piping, fireplaces). I want to get more involved with the local businesses community and figured id start here where I frequent for personal use. Look forward to chatting with other local businesses owners and entrepreneurs

so i’m a college student and i just got a job downtown. one of my classes is on zoom and on some days my work shift will end pretty close to the time class starts so i won’t have time to get back to campus. are there any good free or low cost places that i could take my class from? i’m considering the seattle central library because it’s pretty close but i also know that there’s a lot of vagrants there and it smells like pee. does anyone have a place around there that they like to go?

Nothing in Seattle or anywhere that is super far away(no car and easily motion sick from some buses). I also ain’t looking to adopt, I don’t got the finances to take care of another life rn. I just want to see cats and maybe even volunteer? I know about the cat book store but that’s far away for me. Thank you 🙏

Howzit. My wife and I are moving to Kirkland in a few days, hoping for a crash course on Kirkland. What do I need to know? What should we check out? What are some ways to get involved in the community? What are some ways to make friends? Best cheap eats? Best bakery? Best cool stuff we wouldn't necessarily find quickly on our own? Both early 30s. I don't drink- only THC. We'll be walking distance to downtown. Previously lived in Leavenworth & Waikiki
