All of a sudden a group of probably 15(?) police cars blocked off all lanes calling for an SUV to pull over. Once the SUV stopped moving, the police got out of their cars with guns aimed at the vehicle. I kept driving of course so I don’t know how long the lanes were blocked and what all went down, but it seemed like a huge deal and I can’t find any news about it anywhere.

Any recommendations for bars that’ll be showing the MLB playoffs? I know there’s like Toms Watch Bar and other ones down near downtown and the fields, but anything else north of Lake Union?

We lived out of state for too long and moved back a couple years ago. We didn't make it to any pumpkin patches since our return, and despite being unemployed right now, I want to make some memories with the family this year. Years before, we did the pumpkin patch experience most Octobers and, while the pumpkins would be a little pricey, it was still a relatively inexpensive outing. Upon looking at the map today, so many pumpkin patch farms now have an entry fee. I saw one for $28/person—even for kids 3+ years! I can't afford that. Even if I had a job, I don't think I could justify that. Heck, Texas did the entry fee at some amusement park-level pumpkin patches, but it was like $15/person. What's the best pumpkin patch experience in the region that doesn't cost me $100+ just to walk onto the property and get lost in a corn maze AND STILL pay per pound for pumpkins? I just want the crisp air, a muddy patch, watch my kids pick a gourd that admittedly costs too much, take some family selfies on a hay bale, and maybe splurge with some apple cider and a donut if they're available—pay for what I buy, not pay to exist on their property. What happened to those pumpkin patches? 😅 Thank you, in advance, Lynnwood 🎃👍

Hey fellow plant people! We are looking to expand my indoor plant collection(100+ at this time, never enough plants!) and are driving down to Seattle today! We would love to check out some indoor plant shops in the area, we’ve been to a few nurseries etc. but we love finding more! Alocasias, Hoyas, monsteras, string of plants, etc are our favorites! Please let me know if you have any recommendations!
