Hey everyone my dog Ella has been missing since 3/20 when her foster mom took her for a walk in Cowen Park the night before I was supposed to get her back and she ran away from the foster. On 4/20 someone picked her up at a gas station and attempted to drive her home but only made it by big whale consignment on Aurora Ave. She has been on the streets ever since and I can’t find her, I miss her a whole lot! Please bring Ella home! My phone number is (206) 380-0543 and my name is Ashle. If you have seen her or have any information please call or text. She may be still wearing her blue sweater.

My 2003 soft top convertible mustang was stolen by the mechanic who was supposed to be fixing it but he was actually creating more problems with it in order for me to think it was a lost cause and that I would just let him have it or something like that. It may work on most women but my father is a heavy duty mechanic & I'm quite mechanically savvy myself & caught on pretty quickly. I told him to gtfo from under my car & he insisted on towing it from the place well'd been working on it at. He parked in front of a fire extinguisher but I called Lincoln towing & they haven't towed it since 2024 & said nobody else would tow for a FE violation. I did call other yards and confirmed the absence of it anywhere. My suspicions were confirmed this evening when a friend said that he did take it & has been bragging about it as well. He lives in Capitol Hill so that's where I'm guessing the car may be. Thank you.
Some songs never get old. From the ’60s to the ’90s, there’s something special about hearing the songs we grew up with played live. Good music, familiar tunes, and a relaxed Friday night with friends. Dischord will be playing live this Friday from 8–10 PM at 1928. If you’re in the mood for some classic hits and a little nostalgia, come hang out! No cover charge. Just show up, enjoy the music, and see where the night takes you. 1928 Tap & Grill & Karaoke 14525 Aurora Ave N, Shoreline Who else still knows all the words to those old songs?
I’m far enough south in the CD that I’m close to Jackson but I have to walk down (and then back up) the mountain to reach my apartment if I want to go to the hub of beautiful Vietnamese restaurants (pho bac my beloved). I’m disabled, so this is not something I can do reliably or safely unless I take a bus! However, regular light exercise is encouraged and important for my health, and I want to support the businesses in my direct neighborhood. The other day I went out with my bf and every restaurant we tried to enter was either not open (despite online hours saying otherwise), permanently closed, or a quick-service grab-and-go situation. We probably walked at least 5 blocks off Jackson and found nothing. Any place you might recommend that we could walk to nearby? One of my favorites is Minna, if that’s helpful. ☺️
Hi everyone! My partner and I are in our late 20s and are looking to rent a high-rise apartment in Seattle. We're trying to narrow down our options and would love to hear from people who currently live in these buildings or have lived in them before. Our shortlist is: REN McKenzie ONNI Seattle House Kaye Ivey on Boren We're looking for a place that feels modern, has good amenities, and offers a nice overall living experience as a couple in our late 20s. A few things we'd love to know: Building quality: How is the soundproofing? Can you hear neighbors, footsteps, or street noise? Management: How responsive is management, and how are maintenance requests handled? Amenities: Are the gym, pool, lounge, and other amenities actually worth it? Location: Which building has the best balance? Safety: How comfortable do you feel walking around the neighborhood, especially in the evenings? Apartment experience: How are the views, natural light, elevators, parking, and overall upkeep? Value: Which building offers the best experience for the rent? If you had to choose one of these buildings to live in for the next year or two, which would you pick, and which would you avoid? I'd especially appreciate feedback from current or former residents rather than just leasing-office reviews. Any experiences, pros and cons, or things you wish you'd known before signing a lease would be super helpful. Thanks!

The new light rail station at 130th is great and all but my friends who live a block away are getting drowned out by the loud speakers going off all day and night. Can't sleep because of it. Who do we even contact about this sort of thing? The speakers are unreasonably loud.
Walking back from downtown and passed by the library. A man started to walk closely next to me for about a block without saying anything. I noticed him and asked him what his deal was, and got no response. After a bit longer of silence, he started to accost me a bit. Reached out and asked me to shake his hand, which I assume was to grab me in some way. I said no go away and then guy pestered me a bit more before speeding off while muttering to himself. Probably a good idea to walk on another street after dark! edit: I wasn't sure if a description would be useful but seems like he's still in the area bothering other people based off comments. It was a tall (5'10 - 6'), thin black guy. I remember he had red somewhere on this clothing, but can't remember the exact outfit
I need to finally do this. On March 31st of 2026 I was in a domestic violence situation. And my life was saved by a random hero. Let the truth unfold. So on the evening before, it was a pleasant Saturday afternoon with a stroll through our local woodland marsh. There are pictures of us having a good time. We make a fire out back of the house we are renting a room with. (We have roommates, and the one roommates has a teenager. Teenager and 2 other male roommates are gamers. Minus the mom of the teen. The reasons why they never hear the abuse is cause they have big headphones on...) And then as time progresses, he became obsessive about the lack of time I am spending with him. Because I go into the house to pee and godforbid I have to talk with the other roommates in passing. As the night progresses I know I have to go to work at 5am and his body language and speech is getting to a stage that I recognize. I decide to sleep in the mom's room with the door locked. (I know if I don't he will whisper to me all night. Saying horrible things to me. And startle me awake every 10 to 15 minutes. Or punch me in places that make it uncomfortable to sit down. Back, ribs, stomach etc.) I slept through almost ALL of the times he banged on the door and kicked it, keeping my friend/bed buddy/the mom awake. Thank you sleep gummies. When my alarm woke me, I dressed, got my stuff ready. And as I stepped out to run to the bus I made a critical mistake. I thought that I should make things right and say something to him. Maybe an I love you, have a good day or something like that. I stepped to the door to the room and he yanked it open. He had been listening for my steps. And he pulled me in and forced me on to the bed and began telling me what a horrible person I was. When I tried to get away he wrapped his arms around me. When I tried to scream. He covered my mouth and my nose so I couldn't breathe. I kept trying to fight him. But he was always stronger. My salvation came from a knock on the door. The head roommate heard something that made him hesitate. And I tried to run. But... He caught me near his car and ordered me into his car. I was half terrified he was going to chase me down and half terrified that I was going to be late. He drove from the outskirts to the city. Swung into a parking lot and threw my coffee out the door while grabbing me as I tried to escape. He drove me while screaming with PURE rage and rejection at me about how I was a stupid slut onto the freeway. Driving so fast it was terrifying. Then he drove me to the south park n ride and said ok walk from here. I tried to jump out. He yanked me back. And said I'm not done with you. I said nothing. The entire time. I only made sounds, whimpers. I thought I was going to die. We reached downtown Bellevue. And he stopped at a stop light and I tried to dive out at the turn lane. People honked at us as they drove past. As if it was rude of me to try to run. (It's a high end area, they do that) He pulled around the corner into a straight lane. He paused cause someone was unloading a passenger. I took my opportunity and made a run for it. Literally swung the door open, slang my backpack onto my back in one motion and took off running the opposite way. He put the car in reverse and chased me. But I changed course and ran back down the street and into an alley. The first person I hailed down did not understand because he didn't speak English. My ex had parked and walked up casually with his hands in his pockets and laughed at me when I told the truth. I ran away again. I thought I was safe for a moment and breathed a sigh of relief when I saw him walk the other way. And I thought I could make it to my building on time to clock in. At 6 AM. I walked past a white work van with a man inside, checking his phone. And then the headlights. His headlights came from the opposite side of the alley. I panicked. I ran back to that van and smacked my palm against the window in terror. The man looked at me, popped his door open and I said "my boyfriend is trying to kill me! I just want to get to work." Without any hesitation he said, "get it! I'll take you there!" I Ran around and jumped in. And then he said "where is it?" I told him and he said he knew it. He drove me to work a block away. But that's not the point. A stranger. Opened his door to save another strangers life. To the man from Kirby Electric. At 5:57am. Bellevue Washington. You saved my life! Thank you so very very much! I wish I could say those words to your face and give you a hug and a damn good meal. I love you without ever knowing your name. And I thank you. Thank you, with love and pure respect, Care. And to those who are wondering my ex was arrested later that day and now has a five year restraining order.
