Hello all! I'm relatively new transplant and I've been looking for ways to engage with a local study/discussion/meetup groups outside of Church. I'm having a hard time finding people who are both active and don't give a culty pursuit/prosperity gospel vibe. I'm looking for groups that are more lefty/episcopal/catholic, etc and less mega-phone prosperity. Any ideas? Thanks!

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good barbershop within walking distance of the Amazon Blue Shift building?
Just want to give a heads up to fellow travelers. Yesterday I found I was mailed a camera-ticket from September for speeding in a work zone (54 in a 40) and a fine of $125 with a warning that if I do it again it’ll cost $248! It said it’s not considered a “moving violation” and won’t affect insurance. I don’t recall seeing any “speed camera” signs and technically this is a work zone (although most of the work is happening adjacent to this segment of roadway) so consider yourself warned.
Hello! I will be visiting seattle in November for a siblings birthday. We will be staying in the downtown area around 6th ave. I was wondering if you guys had any good suggestions for nicely decorated/located restaurants for a dinner? Ideally something with good food and a nice view! Open to any cuisine, just wanting to do something nicer.
Relocating for work. Shipping the car, flying in. Quotes range $950 to $1,300 for the same sedan. Is that spread normal for midwest to Pacific Northwest.

Trying to find a potter who I can commission to make a custom mug. Google is only showing studios where I can make the mug myself or paint a premade mug which isn’t what I need. TIA!
As a younger adult in their 20s, I am curious as to what folks who live in Seattle think about someone like myself trick or treating at a few houses. Not surprisingly, I haven’t been trick or treating in years, but this year am feeling the desire to participate in Halloween in a bigger way as I feel like I miss out on the festivities and nostalgic feelings each year I get older. The act of trick or treating and going all out with a costume I imagine would heal so many parts of my inner child and really bring joy, though I recognize (and also self-judge) that this may be a little weird given my age and height (nearly 6 ft tall female-identifying). Would love to hear input from those who are enthusiastic about Halloween and may be opening their homes to trick or treaters. Inspiration also comes from the new feature of the “Treat Map” on the Nextdoor app. Happy Fall!🎃
Is there anywhere I can get an affogato with soft serve this time of year? Or just an amazing one in general, I could pivot. Down to travel, live in Capitol Hill tho.
[outside the autozone on Detroit] title pretty much explains it. I'm not complaining at all-I'm just curious. if anyone knows what it means let me know!
