Did anyone else just see that meteor? It looked like it might have hit near the pass? I saw it from Talus. Fireball came from out of no where and didn’t have time to take a picture😭

Hey lil rant for the community I attended Oktoberfest at the Puyallup fairgrounds recently. It has been a minute since I've been to a bigger size event like this, and I'm sure it's not special in this way. The amount of AI slop from the vendors made me crawl in my skin. Shit was unsettling. Anyone else noticed this at local events? I know I can't be the only one who hates seeing this. I welcome any suggestions for local places/events to purchase art/tshirts/etc with art by a real human Feels weird even putting those words together 🤣

Hi all! I am deeply unwell and am seeking an inpatient mental health facility. I have also heard the horror stories of places that harm more than help. If anyone has personal insight (yourself, a close friend/family member/acquaintance) into anywhere in the Seattle area, I would greatly appreciate any information. Where to go, where to avoid, red flags, etc. Literally any information, I will be deeply grateful for. Thanks

Hey all, I'm looking for someone who has legal experience in Washington state like an attorney, law student, paralegal, or elder care advocate who could help my family out pro bono. We're fighting an what we think is an unlawful discharge of my dad who has dementia from a memory care facility. We're told you do not need to be a licensed lawyer to represent us in this administrative hearing but it would be incredibly helpful if you have legal experience within this specific space (elder law, long-term care regulations, or OAH appeals) to help us navigate the process for our dad. If you are interested, please send me a DM! Thanks!

Hello! My name is Emma, I'm a student and Lake Wa. Institute of Tech's accredited Dental Hygiene program in Kirkland. I am looking for people who are interested in getting cleanings, restorative care, or exams. If you are in need of dental care, this is a great opportunity for thorough and affordable care! We accept almost all types of insurance, and offer very low prices for those without insurance. One thing to note: Your appointment will be longer than your usual dentist appointment, as I am still progressing through my degree and will have everything carefully examined by licensed dental hygienists and dentists at our school clinic. Please message me or leave a comment if you are interested! I currently am in urgent need of a patient by next week, Tuesday Oct. 20th at 1:15pm, as well as Wednesday Oct. 21st at 1:15pm. I have other availability as well if that does not work, although if you would like to come in next week, let me know ASAP and I will be more than happy to get you in. Thank you!! :)

The attorney for a downtown Burien restaurant owner charged in three alleged tire slashing incidents says one case has been dismissed and another is expected to be dismissed Nov. 10 . Michele Godina, identified in police reports as the owner of Piacere Trattoria Italiana, was charged with third-degree malicious mischief in three complaints dated April 16, 2026: https://b-townblog.com/burien-restaurant-owner-admitted-slashing-tires-police-report-says-attorney-says-one-case-dismissed/

It's called Mountain Out. You open it and it says if Rainier is out or hidden right now and why, like low cloud in the way or cloud sitting on the slopes. You can drag through the next two days hour by hour to see when it should come out, and it tells you when the light is best tonight. It does Kerry Park, Downtown Park in Bellevue, Ruston Way and the Capitol in Olympia for now. Android only. Free, no ads, no account. Two things I should say. The mountain pictures are illustrations over the real terrain, not photos. And I haven't measured how often the forecast is right yet, so tell me when it gets it wrong. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nebulacolors.mountainout&referrer=utm_source%3Dreddit%26utm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_campaign%3Dseattlewa-mo
