I came down to Seattle over the weekend from AK and was blessed with beautiful weather. Everyone was so friendly and there was so much to do! Thank you Seattle for being so welcoming and photogenic ❤️

I pulled in tonight to drop off books and this guy was getting out of his car. I thought, okay I’ll wait for him to drop his books as the sign in front of this spot clearly states it has a 2 minute parking restriction and is specifically for book drop. I watched him go inside, and waited for 5 mins for him to come out. The parking lot was full, so I blocked him in for about 10 seconds so I could drop my books. He still hadn’t come out. I’m just here to shame him, full license plate and all.

Hey ya'll! Looking to host Wii sports tourny weeklys (like bowling one week, tennis duos next week, baseball groups) and so on at a bar. It'd have to have a projector or decent sized screen, along with space so people can move around and such. Would like a place to host every Thursdays, like 7/8pm Any suggestions? I got tomorrow so Im planning on going around and talking to bars, reaching out and seeing if I can set up something consistent. Any tips/help would be appreciated, thanks!

This afternoon near 24th Ave and E Columbia St in the Central District, I helped others separate a stocky black and white dog from a smaller black dog firmly in its jaws. I tried the wheelbarrow technique, lost my balance and got dragged across the sidewalk, but held on and the little dog got free. Aggressor dog was then secured by its owner and the little dog ran off. I couldn’t stay, but really want to know how the little black dog is doing. :(

Has anyone tried the aquatic fitness classes at the Lynnwood Pool? Interested in potentially trying it out just wanted to see if it was worth the time. I know Mountlake Terrace Pool also has classes as well. Would love to know if you had experience there and if anyone has a preferred pool. Thanks!

Hi! I’m a 30 y/o Black woman moving to Kirkland for a job and this will be my first time in Washington. I picked WA because my dog and I love rain, gloomy days, hiking and wildlife, so it seemed like a great fit. But I want to have an open/candid discussion how do y’all treat Black people out there? I know racism exists everywhere, but I’m exhausted by having to consider my skin color when deciding where I can comfortably live. POC what has your experience been like in Kirkland? But I genuinely want to hear from everyone good, bad, awkward, whatever. Be real with me lol.
