Just found this shoved way in the back of a bookshelf, collecting dust. I had to read this book years ago for a leadership seminar. Aged like milk.

Hello! I'm from the Seattle area and I would like to learn how to exercise my love for crafting and helping the community. I don't know how to knit or crochet, but am interested in learning so I can contribute my work towards organizations that may need extra blankets or things like that. I would love to attend a class on knitting/crocheting and begin working on projects to donate to animal shelters, homes less shelter, or any other organization that could use such help. Does anyone know where I can get started? I don't really have any supplies- just time and energy to dedicate towards helping and learning something new! ❤️
Does anyone have recent experience as a walk-in at the Lynnwood (or other local) DOL office? I have an appointment for later this month, but it's technically after my license expires and I'd love to get in sooner if I can. Will I wait forever if I go and take my chances?
This is not to have an opinion or report on ice agents active locations. This is just a public safety announcement to look both ways for ice SUV’s in the area to prevent potential accidents. Stay safe!
It's nearly Halloween, which means it's time for the Ballard Halloween Trick-or-Treating map. Add your house to the map if you plan to hand out candy this year.
The Georgetown Morgue costs $42, Halloween themed Candlelight concert is $54 even sitting in the last row. What are the best things I can do with $25 or less? Even a drink at a super decked out bar. I would be going by myself, so preferably things that are fine solo. (Last year I went to the Capitol Hill DAR Rainier Chapter House Halloween thing by myself and it was pretty awkward, just groups of people standing around talking - I left after 5 minutes.) I do know of the free haunted house Comet Lodge, might check that out although could be more geared toward kids.
