Hello all, Not sure if this is allowed here or not. But my mom and I got two adorable rattie boys about 3 months ago. My mom is mostly bed bound and I'm her caregiver. We thought we did enough research and got everything we needed but they are a bit more work than we can reasonably handle. We just know they would do better with an experienced rat owner or someone with more time. We would charge a good faith $20 re homing fee. And we would provide a small amount of food and litter if needed. And whoever adopts them would need to bring their own travel cage to pick them up. Thanks for any interest!

We moved here a year ago to an apartment that got bought out by a bigger company soon after. The new company has been shady to say the least and a lot of people are filing complaints and leaving. Here’s my question: This was our billing for this month $1999 base rent $120 for garage $10.95 for LLIP $35.14 for Water $73.81 for trash $90.74 for sewer $3 pest control $120.28 for electricity (we pay directly to Seattle city light so I’m confused why I’m also paying this to our apartment?) $55 in admin fee and sales tax We ended up paying a shade under $2700 for the month. Needless to say, it has been a shock to go from $1999 to $2700 every month. Is this normal for around here? It’s our first time living in a city Edit: I should add too. This place was kinda crappy when we came. Everything was old and worn down but that was the point. We were happy to pay for and live in that environment. This new company slapped a paint coat over everything. Renovated some of the apartments. They now call it luxury. Nothing has materially changed about the property or units aside from a mild face lift.
I’ve been noticing a ton of empty commercial spaces around Tacoma recently. I know Fred Meyer is leaving—or has already left—one location, but it feels like there are vacant buildings everywhere. Is this mostly because of high rent, businesses moving out, changing shopping habits, or something else going on with Tacoma’s commercial real estate market? Does anyone here know what’s behind it?
I'm doing an assignment about the effects of lead poisoning, and I need to include information about the life and experience of a specific individual with the condition. Does anyone here know of any papers or primary sources / interviews of people living in Tacoma who have had lead poisoning? Perhaps does anyone know someone who would be willing to do an interview that I could be put in contact with? Thanks!
Hello! I’m looking for recommendations for places around Seattle that would be nice and bright enough for some photos at night (past 7 PM)! This would be for a marriage proposal, so it’d be nice if it wasn’t a super busy place. In my head, was hoping for something similar to Urban Light in LA. Thanks in advance!
Hello! Looking for someone who has a house in Queen Anne & is willing to rent a space for me in their driveway or yard to park. Even better if it’s somehow covered, or if you would allow me to put a nice car canopy over it! Hoping to rent the spot for November and December. Thank you!😊
Very straight forward. A community transit bus in Lynwood/Edmonds decided to make a risky and irresponsible left/yeld/yellow light turn. This happened in the 196th St SW, i was heading to the east, he was heading west, this happened in the intersection after QFC in Edmonds, i had a green light and was going forward when i noticed this guy decide to turn to his left (my right) even to he did not have to, i made to react and hard break to my left to avoid hitting him an made to hit his tail and i hit my passenger fender side and my airbags got deployed. The guy hit & run, the police arrived and one of the community managers arrived and they provided me with the driver name and state insurance information, but when i contact them, they made me to fill up a whole claim form that you can find in their website when you click 'contact us' which is going to be answered who knows when because even tho i have videos of proof, they don't want to take the responsibility. I also have videos of the officers being very unhelpful and try to convince me it was not their fault. I was recording with the meta glasses with their authorization btw Does anyone know any lawyer/attorney that can recommend me to sue them and make them pay for my car? since right now is totaled and i don't have any other way to move around and go to work besides uber? my insurance did not cover rental or replacements of vehicle btw, i just have basic coverage insurance My car is not a rental, i own it.
Went to SeaTac to drop off someone. The lines for security check at all checkpoints were insane. Has it been like this for sometime? Or is it just today?
Vote "no" for a policy that harms all girls wanting to play sports in WA. Demanding unnecessary genital exams (the other options are expensive and insurance will not approve them) on all girls is genuinely horrific. See the op-ed from healthcare providers in the repost. Please vote! And don't forget to drop your ballot in a drop box ASAP when it arrives. Avoid mailing, if possible.
Always cool to see the big boats down here for the fall chum run
