Hello I am currently a high school senior wanting to attend UW. I have a very low gpa and do not have the ability to get into UW. I am considering attending a Seattle community college next year for two years and transferring to UW afterwards. Do I have a higher chance of getting in from a Seattle community college?

I am measuring our tap water pH in north seattle with pH Test Strips, and it's coming in 5-6 range. Google claims 7.5-8.5 (slightly alkaline). Does anyone have a pH meter in Greenwood/Ballard and can they measure please lol. Also apparently we have very low TDS, maybe thats why the pH strips aren’t working well?

I may move to another State, and I can move Everything by myself except my 77 Oled TVs, those things are very delicate. A wrong pinch on the screen can really mess it up. I need to hire for just that and nothing more in the truck. Professional movers are an arm and a leg just for that purpose, Home Depot parking lot people for hire isn't safe, Labor temp offices have sketchy people. If you're in my situation where to find help?

Who felt like they had to apologize when I rolled up with my husband and baby because I didn't realize I went to a Bikini Hut. I don't blame you at all, your coffee hut was beige so I thought it was a normal coffee hut. But that's still my bad. You did a great job the coffee was pretty okay and you had really fast service.

Fewer Seattle Police Department officers patrolled this year's Bite of Seattle on the day a gunfight left three dead and at least four others injured [...] Police data provided by the department to the Seattle Times shows staffing for Sunday, July 26, including sergeants and one lieutenant, was 34. Last year, the figure was 50. [...] Over the full weekend, SPD committed 116 personnel this year compared with 166 last year. "Until that is completed, I will not know who made the final recommendation for the amount of officers there." ~ Weeks of hearings over who delayed the press conference, and this is the number nobody put on the agenda. Thirty percent of the deployment gone year over year, and two months later the department still cannot say whose decision it was.

31m new to capital hill and new to dating. Am setting up dates with women late 20s to early 40s and want to know what bars we could go to in the Capital Hill area that wouldn’t be full of 21 year olds on a Saturday/Sunday evening as thats what I’ve been told is the common crowd/target market for bars around here. I like cozy, dim, nearer to dive bar feeling than anything upscale or fancy. Thank you all for any recommendations.
