In January 2024, Will Hollingsworth of Buildings & Food group (Prosperity, Good Company, Old 86) bought and closed Griffin Cider House as part of his feud with the LBM owners. He promised to open a new concept space before the end of the year. Fast forward two and a half years and zero progress, and he has now listed the space after LBM announced they're closing. I took this picture yesterday.

This is r/Seattle 's weekly post for local businesses and makers (or users who discover them) to share their creations with our users. This thread will be automatically posted every Saturday morning to help connect r/seattle users with cool local stuff. Types of content encouraged in this thread are: Local businesses (new, running promotions or sales, or just really good ones!) Upcoming events or activities (concerts, festivals, pop-ups, shows) Local artists or creators sharing upcoming shows or releases Content should be related to businesses or events in the greater Seattle area, and the typical reddit spam rules apply - please ensure you are contributing to the community more than just your own content. Users who flood these posts with ads, links without context, referral codes, etc. - or who promote without contributing elsewhere will be actioned. Please continue to report actual spam. We have our rules against spam and self-promotion for hopefully understandable reasons, but we've noticed users responding more positively to local businesses, artists, etc. sharing their content. This is an attempt to bridge the gap, helping users find cool stuff while containing the promotion to a single weekly thread. Please send us a modmail with any suggestions or input you have about the use or abuse of this thread.

Hi- coming out for Penn State/Wash game Sat night in Nov and then going to Seahawks on Sunday. Best seats for water and/or city views? Don’t mind being in end zones or up high (actually prefer high end zone for “scout view”. Never been to Wash so looking more for views and tips than best “football seats”. Thanks!
Hello! We are moving to Lynwood Washington with our 2 young kids and our cats! I’m really nervous, and have never really been outside of Maine to be honest. Maine is a sheltered state! My husband is a welder , and there is a lot of welding opportunities that are high paying in Washington so hence the move. Anything I should know about Lynwood? Like the norms and stuff like that?
Saw some posts about people not liking the bar seats but one user said the 100s got better with an incline? I have seats to a show in a month or so in 102 bar, closer to the left side of the bar section and im worried that I bought tickets in a panic a few months back. Are they decent ? I dont mind standing at all i just worry about the people in front of the section blocking my view. First time at the venue!
Hi. For the last summer, I was in Kirkland and have had pretty good experience with finding commute. I almso never had to take a bus, and always got someone from Microsoft/Amazon to commute with. And even better, Microsoft pays for that. For the next summer, I was looking into Woodinville as an option. Wanted to understand if I should expect to find fellow scoop riders from Woodinville.

I went to Bellevue college almost 15 years ago and it was pretty common on the first day for teachers to play these awkward “let’s get to know everyone” games. Basically some variation of one by one introduce yourself and tell us a fun fact. I’m shy and speaking to a crowd of strangers gives me anxiety so I hated the entire first week of every quarter. (It gets better as I get familiar to the people and setting over time and I genuinely do enjoy learning.) Is this still a thing? I have quite a bit of free time these days and was floating around the idea of taking some classes for fun. Thanks yall
