Looking for daycare for my 6 month old in Burien or the surrounding area. Any recommendations and experiences? I reached out to Millennium Kids and requested a tour but they only offered me a Zoom meeting...

I'm moving to Seattle for work and I have four options that fit into my budget and are very close by to work located at The Spheres. Since I have zero knowledge about the neighbourhoods, I wanted some help from this community. I know some parts of Belltown, especially at Arrive and 303 are not safe, but I'm not staying for long term (perhaps the duration doesn't matter tho unsafe is unsafe). Montreaux Condominiums (3rd Ave and Wall St) Arrive (4th Ave and Lenora) 303 (3rd Ave and Battery St) Ovation (8th Ave and Spring St) If none of these are good, I'd love to hear suggestions which neighborhood would be safe, as close as possible to The Sphere, and affordable (3800/month for furnished apartment/Airbnb). I'm a bit flexible on budget.

Looking to host a movie night for my birthday but I live in a studio and so do most of my friends. Is there somewhere I can book a movie room? Nothing fancy literally just like a living room set up w couches and a tv or projector. Do any apartment complexes or hotels have one I could rent for a few hours? I already looked at AMC and they don’t have the date I need available.

Looking for a car rental place near Pike Place that has car pickups at 4am. Anyone know of any? We don’t want to take an hour train ride to SeaTac to pick up a car. Thanks!

For all the Gujarati people around here, any of the garba/dandiya events in the area worth going to/worth the prices? Particularly if there’s one that tends to attract a good amount of young adults instead of solely parents/kids.

The Washington State Patrol reported that its toxicology division has experienced a 59% increase in forensic casework submissions since 2015, but staffing levels didn't keep pace. [...] Assistant Toxicology Division Commander Brian Capron told TVW's "The Impact" that the toxicology labs have reduced the backlog from a peak of more than 17,000 cases last August to around 14,000 cases today, despite record numbers of new submissions. [...] According to Capron, the agency is currently on track to hit their target of 90-day turnarounds by late 2028. "He had DUIs on his desk that just this past week expired the statute of limitations. They could not file because they could not get the blood tests back in time." ~ The statute of limitations on a gross misdemeanor DUI here is 24 months. Drug testing is running 22. Cases are not being dropped by a prosecutor, they are timing out in a queue nobody funded to keep up.

Our car was broken into in the Roosevelt area (near the high school + reservoir) on the night of September 23, and two sets of keys were taken (photo of the actual keys not available). Two sets - each set had two keys on it. I’m wondering if anyone in the Roosevelt area has come across a set of keys that may have been dropped or discarded. Other items taken have been randomly found on surrounding sidewalks. Thank you for keeping an eye out!

EvergreenHealth ENT + Head & Neck Surgical Care recently relocated, and we were shocked that seeing an ENT specialist now incurs a $360 facility fee that our insurance does not cover and counts it as deductible, because it is considered an outpatient service. This means that each time my family member comes in for a routine 6-month checkup, we are responsible for paying $360 out of pocket. Could someone please explain the reasoning behind this charge and why it is not covered by insurance? Thanks.
