I will be in Seattle in October for a while to take a vacation and enjoy the beautiful scenery, hike, and enjoy the cool weather, but I am not sure how cold it will be there so that I can buy the appropriate clothes! Also, I want to know which trails might be closed for some reason, such as during rainfall. I would appreciate it if residents of WA could advise me on this matter.

They used to have some of the best produce for better prices than PCC/Metropolitan. Their deli section had a limited, but nice quality selection for good prices. I noticed that the produce was…meh…for the last few months. Then I went yesterday and the entire deli has been replaced with Dietz & Watson products. I asked the person at the counter if this switch was indefinite. They sheepishly shrugged and frowned. Then this prick in a Dietz & Watson hat interrupted our interaction to assert (in a prick-like tone) that it was. Are they under new management or something??

We all probably heard and saw the news of speed cameras being installed alongside it, but also getting destroyed after. Does anyone know if it got fixed and is running again?

Just heard multiple gunshots fired about 10-15 minutes ago near North Greenwood/Broadview area. Lots of sirens now. Anyone know what happened? I’m disabled and cannot leave my house on my own or else I’d go check myself.

I'm wondering if y'all know of someone that I can hire to help me build a shed. I have a build plan and I'm setting up the foundation myself, am willing to help with the manual labor, and I have some lumber already, but I'm wanting to get some quotes on this. I'm just not sure who to talk to about something like that.

My family has weekly breakfasts at our favorite diner, and the food is great but the building is pre-ADA, and Mom is in a wheelchair. When she needs to use the restroom it's dangerous — her wheelchair doesn't even fit into the room. Takes two people to walk her to the throne. Can anyone please recommend a non-chain restaurant open for breakfast, southside (Renton to Burien), that has an ADA-compliant ladies' room? Thanks.
