I always see posts about which companies to avoid. Not sure who to call.

Hi all, I will be attending a conference at the Seattle convention center for a week in November. Can you please suggest a place to stay that has good restaurants nearby and good connectivity to the convention center. Also how would be the weather during November? Thank you.
Thinking about taking a girl to the Fair tomorrow for our third date. I’ve been before, but never as a date spot. Is it actually a good vibe or it too crowded/chaotic?
Just so you know, if you pass the small raccoon carcass on 65th today and also are concerned, I’m 99% sure it’s not our neighborhood cryptid. Stopped and took a look out of fear, but it appears to be another small trash panda with unfortunate luck.
Wondering if anyone else has experience with this issue or recommendations on how to proceed. I got a new home over two months ago. When I set up the electricity and utilities in my name I immediately change the compost bin size (prior owner had a 90 gallon one). I have my own compost service and you can file for an exemption (I did this at my prior place of residence in the city easily). It has been over two months now and the 90 gallon bin still sits here and my account continues to show a pending bin size change. I got my first bill for utilities recently and of course they are charging me for the 90 gallon bin. I called in and the lady can see the request that I had placed and said the bin should be picked up that week (that was last week). It wasn't. I called in again this week and was told it would be picked up this week (collection day is Wednesday). Again, it was not picked up. I am aware that an inspector needs to visit to see my own compost device but I have received zero communication or instructions on when this will occur. I've been told I cannot dispute the charges for the 90 gallon bin until it is removed but I'm at a lost since it seems like they have no plans on actually processing my request. Aside from me delivering the 90 gallon city provided compost bin to the city council (🤣) any recommendations?
I have some wasps flying around my gutter and need to get that removed before they sting someone I got a rec for Rambo Pest control but they’re gonna charge me over 300 to remove the nest. Anybody know someone who can do it cheaper? I can’t see the nest otherwise I’d just blast it with hot shot or something
Like the title summarises: Are there any social or activity clubs in the wider eastside (not in Seattle)? That have people in their late 30s or in their 40s (not just people in their 20s and early 30s?) By wider Eastside, I mean like Redmond/Bellevue but also Issaquah, Carnation, Sammamish, Fall City, Duvall, even Snoqualmie as I live just east of the main Eastside. I'm mid 40s and don't have any friends and have no idea how to make any now that my child is older, I live further out, WFH, and don't have friends or family to introduce me to new people. When I first moved here, I made friends pretty easily but they all moved away. Then I made new friends pretty easily, but they all moved away in the months before Covid hit. Then I found it impossible to make new friends while a pandemic was raging, weirdly enough, and honestly I just got used to being completely alone all the time. I think it's time I start putting in effort again to try to make new connections! But I don't meet people naturally, I've found most groups on Meetup aren't active anymore (at least not in Meetup), and I don't have Facebook. I'm have a wide variety of interests and hobbies (but don't drink alcohol and don't watch sport) so, please just throw whatever you've got at me 🙂
Hey y'all I'm a recent college grad who runs a marketing business, for local service companies, and I'm looking for owners here in Seattle. We’ve been doing this about a year now, and we work with roofers, painters, home remodelers, pool builders, gyms, junk removal, lawn care, car detailing, driving schools. Basically anybody who does the work themselves and wants the phone ringing more. I'm looking to partner with a few owners who already have steady work and a good reputation, but have hit the point where word of mouth alone isn't filling the schedule the way they want. If you're at that spot and want to add more jobs each month, or you know somebody who is, I'd love to connect or get a referral.
