What would u all think is reasonable for an apartment for one person? I’m currently paying just shy of 2k, wondering if I’m overpaying. Amenities are nice but not needed, pool and gym and stuff.

I have yet to find a really good pizza spot up here. I understand everyone has their own taste(s), and so this question is incredibly subjective, but I swear I've had the most mediocre pizzas in my life up here. I've tried: Pizza Pizzazz (actually not that bad, but pretty greasy. The pizza bread was pretty bangin) Can Am Pizza (can't recommend it. Incredibly disappointing) Farrelli's (fine for pan pizza, but still not getting there) Wicked Pie (Puyallup) (best of these probably, and while I can't put my finger on it, it's still not fantastic) Domino's (crust good, overall pizza not good) Papa Murphy's (blech, I hate the crust and the sauce. Not for me) Costco Pizza (bang for the buck best option) Little Caesar's (I get the hate, but I always kind of enjoyed it) Obviously, some of those are chains and their quality is to be expected. I know what I'm getting when I go to any chain pizza place, and I'm tired of settling for it, even if it's "not bad". I want a good pizza place. Somewhere I can shamelessly be a regular because the quality is good. I want a "go-to" spot for when the family and I want to have a pizza night a couple times a month or so. Does anyone have some good recommendations? Preferably somewhere nearby so I can go pick up and still have them hot when I get home. I live in Lakewood, very close to town center, if that helps. Anyway, other than the pizza, Lakewood, Tacoma, and the surrounding areas have been awesome to live in these past few years. Great trails/hikes, good people, and despite the insane traffic during rush-hour, the drives are even pleasurable for me. Thanks in advance Tacomans! THROW A GOOD PIZZA PLACE MY WAY!
Does anyone know if Remlinger Farms concerts usually have openers or not? I can’t find info anywhere online about this for the Big Thief concert tomorrow.
Looking for (word of mouth) recommendations for Speech therapy clinic for kids in Bellevue, Issaquah or nearby.
I've been searching for any kind of work in Seattle for over a year now. I'm in a situation where I need to get a job as soon as possible. I'm willing to do anything for work, and I have experience in customer service, retail, pet-care, etc. However, no matter how much applications I've been sending in on Indeed, Ziprecruiter, company websites, etc, I've gotten nothing back. I'm getting desperate. I thought it would be easy to find a job here because Seattle is huge, but I've had no luck. It's so frustrating. Any advice is appreciated.
Football? Concert? Fair? Just heading east because you feel like it? We have some I-90 roadwork you’ll want on your radar this weekend. Two right lanes of eastbound I-90 will close from east of SR 18/Snoqualmie Parkway to SE North Bend Way from 6 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26 to 8 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28. Our bridge maintenance crews will be making repairs to the bridge deck, and you should expect delays through the area while the lanes are closed. Please note: this work is weather-dependent so there's a chance you'll be able to disregard this message entirely. Saturday is expected to be a particularly busy day for eastbound travel. Between CWU football in Ellensburg, Jack Johnson at the Gorge, WSU vs. Arizona in Pullman and several other events happening across Central and Eastern Washington this weekend, you may have some company on I-90. So, if you're making the trek east, especially Saturday morning: check traffic conditions before you leave via our real-time travel map or app, give yourself some extra time and don't make kickoff or showtime your ETA.
As a father, Seattle School Board member, and long-time advocate for working families, I am furious that a hedge fund multi-millionaire, Brian Heywood, is trying to force a national MAGA agenda on Washington’s schools. His three initiatives on our ballots will negatively impact parents, teachers, school counselors, school sports, and of course children from pre-school through college.

Where's the best spot to walk a dog and get a view of the mountain. I like the view from madrona Beach but I don't love getting to madrona Beach. The view from Myrtle Edwards is nice but the mountain always looks a little small. Not that I'm complaining about either really I just would love more options for where to drive my dog to take a nice walk with a view. Thanks!
