I'm moving out of my apartment next month and trying to decide if it's worth hiring cleaners instead of doing everything myself. Between packing and getting the new place set up, I really don't want to spend my last day here scrubbing the oven, bathroom, cabinets, and everything else. I've been looking at house cleaning services in Seattle that do move-out cleans, but I've never hired one before. For anyone who's done it, was it worth the money? Any companies you'd actually recommend?

Hi everyone, I'll try to make a long story short, but I bought a Litter Robot 5 about 6 months ago, and holy shit it's great! However (and a big however) only one of my two cats uses it. I'm having such a hard time getting my other one to try it without risking him going elsewhere and we just don't have a big enough bathroom to justify 2 litter boxes anymore. The last option I'm thinking of trying is to just take away his box and hope for the best, but previously he'll just pee on the litter mat instead of just going in the robot. Yes, I've also tried treat training and keeping it off around him and other tactics. So, do I risk him peeing somewhere that he shouldn't be able to... Or if anyone is interested we can chat about handing it off. I'll do my best to clean it if it goes that way and the price will definitely be less than what it sells for new. Again, I LOVE it but one of my boys is just making it a frustrating situation with the little amount of room we (don't) have for 2 litter boxes.

I walk some trails outside of East Wenatchee with some frequency and the scenery rarely disappoints. I'm learning the basic techniques of manual photography right now and being able to capture stuff like this while out practicing is a bit of a cheat code.

Hello! My sibling and I were both picked for the Banana Ball lottery so we both bought tickets so we could see who would get the best seats since they don't assign seat locations until a week before the game. She did, and because of that, I have a pair of tickets to the Indianapolis Clowns vs Party Animals at Progressive Field on Saturday, September 26th available. The face value is $40 each but I would sell the pair for $75. There is a Banana Ball marketplace on the official website for tickets (FansFirst), but you have to hand your bank account over to Stripe and I don't feel comfortable doing that. The seat location is kind of terrible (Section 519, Row V, Seats 19 and 20), but if you've never gone to a Banana Ball game, you're in for a real treat! Also, because I'm a dingbat and discovered the marketplace, I had a huge case of FOMO and hastily bought an amazing ticket for the game on Friday, the 25th right on the field and right next to the dugout (Section 165, Row A, Seat 1) because I was thinking it was for the Saturday game and that we would take turns sitting there to get a better vantage point. That ticket is also available, but the face value is $60. I'd be happy to meet up at a public place in Lakewood or on the West Side for payment and transfer the digital tickets. In order to transfer the digital tickets, I will need an email address at the time of the transfer. According to the transfer rules, you have 72 hours to accept the tickets before it gets transferred back into my account. I would be happy to wait to ensure that the transfer went through before leaving the meet up point. You will more than likely have to create a Fans First account in order to accept and use the tickets. Feel free to send me a private message if you're interested or have any questions!

The King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office filed gross misdemeanor criminal trespass charges in March 2026, declining to pursue felony charges due to insufficient evidence linking specific individuals to the roughly $1 million in reported property damage including spray-painted walls, broken equipment, fires and shattered windows. [...] In June 2025, the UW Police Department officially referred felony charges against all 33 individuals to prosecutors. "The letter [was] applauding [UW] for having arrested us as they did, and then also saying that all of UW's grants and contracts would be monitored and under review pending the outcome of the student conduct process against us," she said. ~ Campus police sent all 33 up as felonies. Prosecutors could not tie anyone to the damage and charged trespass, ten months after 23 of them had already been suspended and barred from campus health care.
