Heya neighbors, I started a new job and don't have insurance until December. I have had a weird red bump on my lower eyelid for the last 14 days and really want a professional to take a look at it sooner than December. Does anyone know of any low cost / sliding scale eye doctors in the area? (Area as in as far north as Arlington and as far south as Shoreline) Thanks in advance!

Where do you buy your fresh marigolds for Day of the Dead?
More than 2 million invasive green crabs were captured in Washington state from July 2025 to June 2026, smashing previous records. More European green crabs were trapped in those 12 months than in all previous years combined since the pinchy invaders were first documented in Washington state in 1998. State and federal agencies spent at least $8 million fighting the European green crab in Washington in the 2025-2026 fiscal year. Between professionals and volunteers, some 500 people in Washington set and check traps targeting the green crabs. ~ A record catch sounds like progress until you notice it doubled. 500 trappers, $8 million, and the warm El Niño winter is still ahead of us.
I need to order a birth certificate from King County. Checking their website, there is an online ordering option via VitalChek but it has a lot of additional fees. It looks like they also have a snail mail option and an in person option which have fewer fees. Does anyone have experience with ordering a birth certificate through the mail or in person? If so, how was your experience?
Saw the news about French supermarkets this morning, and then this afternoon I saw that not all, but some of the refrigerated kiosks and the Murray's cheese counter, deli meats, were empty due to a "power outage" with some of their refrigerators. We noticed lots of their other refrigerated aisles were ok.
Mainly collect/play Pokemon and MTG. I had a super uncomfortable experience in a card shop today so I was hoping for some recommendations. I just want somewhere that can be my go-to place, where I can go through bulk and buy some singles in peace without passive aggressive comments and being weirdly quizzed on my TCG knowledge.
Just saw a post on insta about a new EDM club, unsure on the name but it’s going in the building at 726 Pac Ave and allegedly opening on the 26th. I’m very excited about this, I know there’s been a few posts regarding the lack of EDM spots here. (The post was from Dubseamusic on IG)
