Is there any reason why UberEats is still allowing singular brands to just open a dozen crappy brands under the same roof? Alberonas is notorious for having over a dozen brands in the same kitchen with a new one spinning up every time their reviews tank. https://www.google.com/search?q=3624+Leary+Way+Nw+Seattle+WA+98107+site:ubereats.com&lr=&sca\_esv=76c3b7943658a61d&sxsrf=APpeQntSl91ka\_GbP6OjUAh7U8drHDM3RQ:1790192657874&ei=l&start=0&sa=N&sstk=AS6-VmKmUJ5LzorynOusgZU\_fGo9Xw\_FF9allN6d8qpzHKFKiNaBaznbkXdwce7FQkjgOIr2kYUOOHpNIdoR-V4tLgX2isbS1Aba6xAaUUHJCizosCL9VgDEVHovHgaDuHHx&ved=2ahUKEwjZqs6ru4WXAxVxCTQIHcmsPMY4ChDx0wN6BAgiEAI&biw=1641&bih=583&dpr=2
Had engineered hardwood floors installed throughout home including stairs. Total of 14 steps (split stairway). A few of the steps are flexing. August: Floor installer ‘fixed’ stairs by replacing 4 bullnose sections and added wood riser to all steps. September: The steps are more stable but some are still flexing (inward). Likely have a high spot — Prep shows the old glue and usb from previous ‘fix’ from August. Installer says this is the best they can do. I’m of the belief that if you approach the project with thorough floor prep - higher chance of success and customer satisfaction. I’m ready to hire someone to fix the installers ‘fix.’

Hi all, Seattle is one of the most expensive cities in the nation for veterinary care, and I’m trying to assess which company will have the greatest price hikes over time. Starting rates are meaningless because companies can lure you with a low rate, then increase the rate, and by then you can’t change due to pre-existing conditions. Companies increase rates based on various factors, and even Trupanion, which doesn’t use age based increases, has had significant increases. I’m trying to get a realistic picture of what rate hikes actually look like for local pet owners over time. Would you mind sharing your experience? It would be super helpful if you could share: - Insurance Company: (Trupanion, Healthy Paws, Lemonade, Spot, etc.) -Neighborhood / ZIP: (or general Seattle area) - Breed / Size: -Starting Premium vs. Current Premium: (and over how many years) - Plan Specs: Reimbursement % (e.g., 90%, 80%) & Deductible (e.g., $250 annual vs. $250 per-condition) - Age your pet when your plan started Thanks for helping me make an informed insurance decision.

Planning to move back to Washington this fall and are currently looking for a house to rent in the greater Seattle/Eastside area. We’re pretty flexible on location and are considering places like North Bend, Snoqualmie, Sammamish, Bellevue, Mercer Island, Factoria, Columbia City, Shoreline, and surrounding areas. Ideally, we’re looking for: • 3 bedrooms • At least 1.5 bathrooms • Garage preferred, if possible • Budget up to about $3,500/month (around 1,400sqf or more) • November or December 2026 move-in • Some flexibility on lease length — month-to-month, 6 months, or potentially 12 months if it’s the right place A little about us: we’re two working professionals with great credit scores and no pets. We would, however, love to find a place where occasional visiting family members could bring their dogs or cats once or twice a year. We’re especially interested in hearing about rentals that may not be widely listed yet, private landlords, or anyone who knows of a friend or family member with a property coming available. If you have any leads or recommendations, please feel free to DM me. Thank you!
Stay away from this dealer on Aurora in Lynnwood!! It failed one day after I bought it and Carter Subaru in Shoreline confirmed major defects that caused the car to fail. This dealer engaged in deceptive advertising by not disclosing a different transmission in a car I bought. The Carfax report showed the car did not have a transmission change. This is fraudulent practice to not disclose this information. RS Motors LLC is in breach of implied warranty of merchantability (RCW 62A.2-314) for both: a) The car has major defects that were not advertised b) The car was not safe to drive or “fit for ordinary driving purposes” because RS Motors LLC failed to have a check plug, proper fluids to the front differential, proper fluids in the transmission causing the car to fail. It is their duty of care through mandatory warranties and consumer protection acts to sell a safe car and they failed. RS Motors LLC misrepresented this vehicle’s condition and said that the car was in “great mechanical” condition. They falsified mechanical history by not disclosing major defects at time of sale (a used transmission nor properly adding fluids for it to run properly).
Depending on who you ask Bellevue is either the soulless corporate brother of Seattle or the cleaner more refined sibling of Seattle. What is your opinion on it? I’d especially like to hear from people who live in Bellevue or commute to Bellevue.
Is it the norm to have to coordinate with your leasing office/property manager when getting your Internet setup? I moved from GA mid-August and it’s been like pulling teeth trying to get my Internet setup. I had an appointment with Quantum to have fiber internet setup the day I moved into my apartment. Quantum’s website said they covered my address and I confirmed with my leasing manager that other tenants have or have had Quantum. The day of the appointment, the tech had to call my property manager to get a code to a lock box to access a room to complete the installation. Well, apparently the techs didn’t have what was needed to set up my internet. I spent weeks back n forth with Quantum over it. Finally got another appointment set up for this past Monday. They came out and again didn’t have what they needed. I’m no stranger to pain-in-the-ass ISPs, but what has me so caught off guard is how my property manager is handling it all. Apparently either the first time Quantum came out for my apartment or some other time soon after, the tech did not return the key to the lockbox. So now, my apartment will no longer give out the good and all vendor appointments like setting up Internet has to be coordinated with the leasing office for when the property manager is there. The problem is that the manager is only available for very short, specific time windows and it varies day to day and week to week. I work Monday-Friday 8-4:30 and my property manager has flat out said that the office cannot “accommodate” vendor appointments on Saturday. She also keeps responding to me as if -I- am the problem. When Mondays appointment fell through, I told her they could send someone back this Wednesday (today) and she told me I needed to figure out what the issue was and make sure Quantum could actually get my Internet set up because she “couldn’t keep accommodating” these requests. She told me the two hour window she would be available for Wednesday (today) and Friday. So I got back on the phone with Quantum yesterday and got my appointment setup for Friday during the time she said she was available. I immediately sent a message to the office number to inform her of the appointment. Now she’s talking down to me saying she will rearrange her calendar to accommodate this request. I’m starting to get pissed. I’m not asking for a favor here. I’ve never had to coordinate internet setup with my leasing office before in GA but maybe this is a Seattle thing? But also, her being the sole manager between three properties (like she loves to remind me) isn’t exactly my problem? Like I understand and sympathize, but I’m just as frustrated if not more pissed off about this. If the property has a rule that the manager has to be on site to allow access to the tech then she’s literally getting paid to do this. This is part of her job, is it not? I’m not asking for special accommodations especially when she’s told me 6 other new tenants have had the same issue with Quantum. I realize Quantum is the true evil here but I’m really starting to lose patience with this property manager and how she keeps acting like I’m purposefully screwing her over or something.
