Looking for recommendations (or warnings) for property management companies that you've either worked with as a landlord or as a tenant. We will but putting our house on the rental market next summer and would like to start interviewing companies now so we are prepared.

(People keep dragging me whenever I say “packed”.) About 20 members of UFCW 3000, the union representing grocery store workers, were there to support the bill as well. I asked one of them why, since the bill is mainly about protecting customers rather than workers, and he said the union turns out to support things that protect customers too. Nice. They are debating the bill live in Seattle Channel now.

I ran into it on YouTube last night. I graduated from Ballard High in 93, and this movie brought back a lot of memories. Walking around the Greenwood/Phinney Ridge area and hearing some band practice Man in the Box for the thousandth time, all of the lower tier grunge bands my friends and I used to follow, the overreliance on plaid, etc. It was a strange and exciting time to live in Seattle. Anyone else see Alice in Chains play at the Seattle Arena? Anyone else go to Lollapalooza the following summer to see AIC and Primus headline? Rage Against the Machine first on the bill? Tool on the second stage? 30 years later that movie hits a lot differently. I was very tired of some of that stuff in 96, but in 2026 it has a weird kind of glow.

Good (insert time of day), I wanted to reach out to all of you on this as I am moving from Colorado with my family next week. I have a family of 5, including a 12yo, 11yo, and a 3 month old. Between my husband and myself, we make 7k monthly. Looking for a 3 bedroom with a budget of no more than 2600. My question for you is this: Do you know anyone who is known to or is willing to work with someone who has rental debt and is on a payment plan to pay it off? We aren’t particular on if it’s a complex or a private individual. Back in 2025, we were two blocks from the Annunciation school shooting, which shook our family to the core. As such, we sadly had to break the lease we had in order to move. We were making regular payments (proof can be provided) to our landlord up until the point he sent our account to collections when we advised him we couldn’t pay it in the timeframe he wanted. We are now currently on a payment plan with the Creditor to resolve this debt. Beyond this debt we have no major utility debt or notes to speak of on our credit report. We are willing to do whatever is needed to obtain housing sooner rather than later, including a monthly fee added to the rent, an increased deposit, prior rental references confirming that we have been good tenants and always paying our rent on time, etc. if that will help our cause. I thank you all for your information and input.

Hi all, I’ll be hosting my friends between Oct 16-22 and looking for ideas to have a fun trip. Here are some places I shortlisted based on my visits so-far, would love to get your opinion and ideas for more as this is my first time during this time of the year in Seattle. Snoqualmie falls Mt Rainier & a quick hike if weather permits Portland for a couple of days Olympic national park Bainbridge island San juan islands Let me know any other fun activities or places we can cover, given its late fall and early winter time. Thanks
