Howdy Woodinville-adjacent folks! JR Berard here, PNW born and raised, professionally unserious, and thrilled to be crawling back into your neighborhood on Saturday, September 26th. It's Friday. You survived the week, so close the laptop, mute the work chat, and change the channel from work to fun. Winemaker's Reserve has been quietly putting together some great entertainment options, and I'm not about to let them do it without me showing up and making it weird. Come laugh, bring a friend and heckle responsibly (or don't, I've survived worse). Let's hang out on Friday the 2nd. 📍 The Winemaker’s Reserve 15902 Woodinville Redmond Rd NE, Ste D Woodinville, WA 98072-4572 (Behind Black Raven Brewery) 🚪 Doors Open: 6:30 PM 🎤 Show Starts: 7:00 PM 🚗 Parking: Free onsite parking 🎭 LINEUP 🌟 Headliner: JR Berard 🎙️ Feature : Lucy Tollefson ⭐ Special Guest: Lori Peck 🎤 Host & Producer: Dani Marie Ticket Link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/stand-up-comedy-with-jr-berard-the-winemakers-reserve-tickets-2001670753106?aff=oddtdtcreator

Hi, this is KUOW. This Thursday we'll be airing our first debate of the 2026 election season during our noontime show, Soundside. Seattle City Council District 5 candidates Nilu Jenks and Julie Kang will be in studio to explain why they should get your vote to represent Seattle's north end. We want to know - what questions do you have for the candidates? What do you want to hear from them before you cast your vote this November? Drop your questions here, or send us an email - [ [email protected] ](mailto: [email protected] ). And listen in to hear their answers on Thursday (9/24) on Soundside!
I'm looking for an LMP who accepts Regence and can see me soon and often. Thanks for any recommendations!
Fisher Scones are a given. Any other recommendations for great food at the fair?
Welcome back to Episode 2 of my teriyaki journey. For this round, I went straight to the comments from Episode 1 and let you guys dictate the menu. I hit up 7 different community-recommended spots in 96 hours. I’m keeping the restaurant names out of the text and holding the updated leaderboard until my end-of-the-year final ranking—watch the clip to see if your recommendation made the cut.

My family lives in Madison park, so I’m thinking of moving my family there as well (myself, husband and 3 kids). I don’t know a ton about the options for schools around there since I only ever lived on Bainbridge island. Kids are 7-11. Any thoughts on both public or private school options? Should I be looking at different neighborhoods? We are open to Catholic school, private school or public. How is the community for kids? Thank you

Hi! I'm moving to Seattle from maryland in 2 weeks for a job at a tech company. Just a couple quick questions if anyone can answer them: I'll be living in SLU, is there really a need for a car and to drive? if so, i'm 22 and I need to learn to drive, how long does it take to find instructors and to actually get the driver's license in hand? What are the most famous hobbies in Seattle other than Hiking to meet some new people and make friends after moving to the city? I would love to go on hikes but don't really know how to find people to hike with that aren't random strangers yet. I do love bouldering. I want to learn a new sport, like tennis, but I looked up cost of lessons and they're like 200 dollars per hours and I'm about to start working for the first time and don't have that kind of money. Any advice on this? Any good gym recs in SLU? Sorry about the long post :)
I have a $150 credit through my Chase card if I use it at certain restaurants. I’m planning a trip to Seattle in December and my options are between Tomo, The Pink Door and Sushi Kashiba. Is there a clear winner between the three? I prefer Asian food over Italian but I’ve heard great things about The Pink door
