I’ve been to musicals at the Paramount before but this will be my first time going for a concert (Lily Allen). Is it like a normal concert where people stand up and dance/sing along, or will it mostly be sitting and enjoying the performance?

Went past here a little bit ago and there was a car on its side. Don’t know how that happened. Police have a lane blocked off so expect slowdowns there for a bit.
Hello! I’m trying to find a hair stylist for my partner and am having a weirdly hard time finding one that meets their specific needs. They have very thick, curly hair (3b-3c) and are wanting someone that specializes in curly hair to bleach and dye their hair a vivid color. I’ve found a fair amount of curly stylists that specialize in natural colors and stylists that specialize in vivid hair but don’t really seem to have experience with curly textures. Does anyone have recommendations for hair stylists that have experience with both things? We’re more than willing to drive for someone that seems good so even stylists outside of Seattle would be welcomed! Thanks!

It’s been way too long since my regular D&D group has been able to get together, and I’ve got an itch that needs scratching. 😂 (if it matters 35m) I’ve been playing D&D for years and can DM 5e, but right now I’d really like to play and join an in-person group rather than try to organize another game myself, or join a virtual group. I don’t have a car, and my apartment is too small to host, so I’m looking for a group that meets somewhere reasonably accessible to me. I’m comfortable joining an established campaign or jumping into a new one. I’m not fully caught up on the 2024/5.5e rules yet, but I’m a quick learner. I’d also be happy to help newer players get comfortable with the game if needed. If anyone has a local group with room for another player, let me know! 🎲
20 M coming from Iowa for the Seahawks game on October 4, my first home game since becoming a fan at four years old! I’ll be staying for a total of three days, and the two restaurants I have on my list right now are roast house and feast buffet, where else should I go? And also, is there much of a difference between lunch and dinner for the feast buffet? Not picky at all, just don’t send me to a salad bar lol. Any kind of meat or seafood is totally fair game. Let me know! I’m a huge eater and love food so Thank you in advance!
Hello! I'm planning a trip to Seattle in mid-November, and it'll be my second time visiting. I've already done all the touristy activities on my first visit, so I want to know about more local spots, specifically queer shops or bars! Are there any queer events going on during that time? Any recommendations are appreciated! Thank you
Recently moved to Bellevue from another state. It looks like the school he enrolled at doesn't host AMC8 or AMC10 math contests. How the kids sign up if they're interested? My kid is an above average 8th grader. He's just interested and I love to support him..
This weekend, I was dog sitting for a friend who lives in Eastlake and decided to walk over to the Eastlake Market for some snacks. When I arrived, something clearly had just happened - like maybe a theft. My headphones were in and I wasn’t paying that much attention. But as I walked to the front counter, I took my headphones off. And the tall Asian guy working the counter was abusing the N-slur hardcore. I’m aware that I missed some context leading up to that moment, but I don’t care if the thief in question walked out with the store’s entire register - there was no excuse for that behavior. After the 3rd N-slur that I heard, I just sat my stuff down and walked out. What really annoyed me about the whole situation, is that there were two alt-looking, def “liberal” white men in line who said and did nothing. Cowards. We have no real allies here.
UPDATE- ended up going to Patcha Greenlake. Y’all, this is 🔥 Hi! East side native who just moved back to the state after a decade away. Remote work is fun until it’s not (iykyk)… so I’m looking for laptop friendly places around Seattle and the greater area… also a place that maybe is good for meeting people? I’ve been to Olympia cafe, although it’s pretty, it’s a cold atmosphere. I would like somewhere that is inviting and can be a regular spot to build community. Had a few of these spots in NYC/LA… people ended up being regulars turned friends. NEED that!
