This is the home for lost and found around Tacoma, refreshed every week. If you've lost something or come across something that isn't yours, drop a comment below. A few things that help: Say whether you lost or found the item, and lead with what it is. Add the rough area and the day, as much as you're comfortable sharing. For anything with a serial number or other identifying detail, hold that back in your public comment and trade it over DM once someone reaches out, so the real owner can prove it's theirs. Lost or found a pet? we recommend posting in r/LostPetsTacoma too, but you’re welcome to post in this thread as well. For everyone's safety, please be smart about meeting people from the internet. Comb through the comments before posting in case your item is already here. Good luck, and thanks for looking out for each other.

I have a skin tag that is detaching on my face and I desperately want to have it removed. I am pregnant so my options may be limited (?) Pregnancy has brought the gift of many skin tags but those others can wait. Curious of recommendations near central Seattle and cost if you recall.
I heard from multiple vendors that have worked with the “The Hall Group” that they don’t pay their invoice and they’re actually in major debt? One of the local business said they have multiple invoices for multiple years never paid. Emails ignored, phone calls blocked, texts unanswered and no sign of ever getting paid. Coincidentally, a couple nights ago I was out at a bar and met a formal employee and they said that they’ve also experienced wage issues with one or two of the locations that The Hall Group owns so I’m confused. It seems like the vendors and some of the employees or I guess former employees go unpaid and then the owners just ghost them is this legal? The Hall group also seems to be getting new vendors pretty frequently? This seems kinda concerning, no? I used to love these places for hawks games and Washington sports but now I’m reconsidering after hearing all of this..? Anyone else have sketchy experiences with them too?

I was bummed I didn't get to go this year. I'd appreciate any pictures!
A new taco stand opened up a couple weeks ago right by my apartment on 10th and Denny, and it genuinely kills me seeing them out there struggling to get business every night 😭 They set up right by Cal Anderson Park near the light rail, and their tacos are SO good. The salsa too. Seriously top tier. It’s a hardworking couple running it, and they often have their adorable toddler hanging out with them while they work. They’re always so kind, and I find myself wishing I could eat enough tacos to single-handedly keep them in business lol. They take cash and card! If you’re around Cap Hill and craving some really good, authentic tacos, please consider stopping by and showing them some love 🥹🌮 I really want to see this little stand make it.
Hiked Cougar Mountain last weekend for the first time in maybe six weeks and some sections looked rougher than I remembered. The trail near the old coal mining area had deep ruts forming from water runoff, and a few root systems that used to be partially covered are now fully exposed. Not talking about the main gravel paths either, these were the narrower connector trails that get less foot traffic. I hike solo most of the time and usually zone out, but this was noticeable enough to snap me out of it. Makes me wonder if the recent weather cycles hit differently, or if trail maintenance just fell off this year. I know King County has limited resources and volunteers do a lot of the heavy lifting. Curious if others who hike the Issaquah Alps regularly have seen the same thing, or if I'm just now noticing what was always there. The whole thing got me thinking about how much deferred maintenance exists across the regional trail network and whether that compounds when you add another wet season on top of it. Not looking to start anything political about land use, just genuinely curious what regulars are seeing out there.
This is so odd and weird, and I know. However, I am a bit more south of Tacoma. When I was going to the Tacoma mall to get the new iPhone, I was stuck on the highway for a minute. It was around 1 pm or so. Add some time before and after. It was a bit slow. There was a car trying to merge in front of me. I thought it was interesting she had her window fully down. I thought she looked cool. She got over. Waited. Got over another lane. And then zoomed off. It was a busy Friday afternoon. Eventually I was at the mall. Waiting in line. Eventually she comes. I think it is her. Could it be her? I really don't know! If it was her, I was surprised. On the highway, her car window was down and I thought I saw her somewhat clearly. However, I can't say for sure. Anyways, I thought she was cool. She looked pretty but like an ordinary person like you and me. Even in our ordinary lives, an ordinary person like myself, thought another was cool and interesting. I just wanted to post this because probably this happens to many of us and we never stop to realize there are people around us who think we are cool or cute or whatever. I noticed! And I am sure others noticed too but have never said anything.
Does anyone have any idea what was going on in the Central District tonight? Partner and I came home from Bellevue and there was a SWAT car and about 8 SPD vehicles at the three way intersection of Rainier, Holgate, and 22nd Ave.
Any cheap simple wedding locations or ideas with just 4-5 people in and around seattle ? I am thinking of courthouse. Budget is a constraint.
