Hi, I am a woman working in IT and live in Bellevue. I’m looking for other women who are interested in studying SQL and data engineering together. I’m starting with revising SQL and data-warehouse concepts and plan to move into other data-engineering tools later. I’d like to find someone to study with, practise questions, and keep each other on track. We can meet at crossroads , Lakehills library or coffee shop once or twice a week. If anyone is interested, please DM me!

Last night we were driving by TJ Max headed to the mall and saw several police cars and two ambulances. The gal at Starbucks said someone was being chased by the police, hit several cars and ended up being arrested at Hobby Lobby. Anyone know what that was about? It looked like several cars had been hit.

Hello! We are Looking for vet recommendations in Ballard, Phinney/Greenwood, Crown Hill, or generally North Seattle. 🐈 We’re looking to establish care for our almost-2-year-old indoor cat and would love to find a vet who takes a practical, relatively low-intervention approach to care. Our general approach is to absolutely pursue testing, treatment, procedures, etc. when they’re medically indicated. We’re just not necessarily looking for the fanciest/most comprehensive option at every turn. We would really value a vet who is comfortable saying, “Here’s what I think is necessary, here’s what’s optional, and here’s what we can reasonably watch and wait on.” Bonus points for reasonable, transparent pricing. Would love to hear where fellow North Seattle cat people have had good experiences with these specific parameters in mind!

Earlier today, I was at the KEXP/Vita near Climate Pledge and saw some stall graffiti saying “friends don’t let friends support Punk Rock Flea Market.” This is one of the only negative things I’ve seen about the place. Is there something I’ve missed?

I'm thinking of renting a small venue for one night and getting a giant Bluetooth speaker and some cheap party lights and going to town. Would anyone want to go.? Tired of driving all the way to Seattle to dance. Honestly even if no one is interested I might just do it anyway. I know in my marrow I must dance. Will venues turn me away if I want to throw a party? No booze? I feel like it's so unofficial it will come across as strange hahaha 80s only. Madonna, New Order, etc.
