Saw this specimen on Harbor Ave. near the Water Taxi. This spot is open street parking but apparently the business has decided to claim it as two-hour parking. It’s worth noting that the business does have actual city-sanctioned two hour street parking provided for them just outside of the photo boundaries, but apparently they decided to claim this space in addition to what they were already provided by the city. How we feeling about this?

Hey all, looking for recs to find someone to do some work in my bathroom. I can’t afford a full remodel at the moment, but my shower is in pretty dire need of some work. I want an acrylic surround installed and probably a tub replacement to match. I know there is some water damage behind the walls and on the floor under the vinyl sheet but not sure how extensive it is and if new framing is needed. There is also a window in the shower that I would like removed to avoid future continued leakage. So all in: existing tub and tile demo. Fixes for any water damage. Remove a window and close wall. Move shower head up 6-12 inches. New tub and surround install. New fixtures installed. I already have a plumber so it’s more the other elements that I need to hire for. There are 10 thousand tilers out there, but for acrylic there seems to be only big box store installs and so it’s been hard to source myself. Any recs appreciated!!
I love long boarding around seattle. Particularly cap hill and central district. I’m always looking for fun routes or places to carve so what are y’all’s favorite route or neighborhood to cruise around in?
Need your recs on a single night stay at SeaTac airport with a week of parking. Cleanest, safest, and preferably covered parking?

Just driving by and the place is swarming with police and news trucks, I have to go there later but like what is going on over there right now?
I'm not a promotor, just an enthusiastic player that wants to share cool local stuff with my fellow Seattleites The great dark is coming now that summer is officially over. There's tons of fun things to do to keep the depression at bay!! Check out Whirlyball! Featured recently on OfflineTV And even Death Cab for Cutie did a promo I'm not gonna lie, broomball and duffleboard sounds fun too! What other weird sports do we have around here?
me and my husband are looking to move to Seattle from Utah sometime in December, we’re both airport employees so anywhere within a 45 minute drive would be great, hoping for a one/two bedroom under $2500 if possible. We have one car (hoping to take the light rail as much as possible) and two ESA animals. I’m not sure if I’m looking for a damn unicorn, but any leads would be great. 😊🥹
Me and my friend are going to a concert and rows 1-5 in section CC right behind the mix station are just not sold at all? Ticket master states “obstructed view” for 85 while stubhub and other sites state “limited view” for 160! These rows weren’t available at all days prior, so I’m wondering if it’d be safe to buy them and still have a good view? Why are they suddenly being sold? Other Wamu concerts have that area sold out already. I saw a video on tiktok with a view from approximately row 5-6 in this area and it looks good :( I just don’t want to make the wrong move and ruin the night for us. I’ve been told that depending on the artist, there may be lights or videographers in the way. Do I take the risk?? Sorry if this is a lot, this is my first time at Wamu! (Also double sorry if you’re seeing this twice, I posted in the wrong sub the first time TT)
That car has a stop all sign, the bicycle lane has yield signs on both sides. Be safe out there.
