To start I think these concrete curbs are terrible. As a cyclist I want the ability to avoid obstacles like animals, debris, people, etc. These fully lock you in on both sides and don’t allow an escape. Also, it seems way more economical to paint the lanes and then have those flexible reflective cones/posts every couple of feet. However - my main question is how is the city going to maintain the lane? Without regular sweeping they will soon (already are) get clogged up with leaf litter, branches and other trash. Anyone have insight into the city planning process for these?

What wifi is reliable in Redmond Downtown. I live in Red 160 and use Xfinity WiFi, they recently increased their price from 55 to 95. Is Ziply or other wifi reliable and good?
paging u/ricetastik - what is up with the fact Touchless is no longer available at check point 3? the signs in the airport all say it is, but it hasn’t been the last couple times I was at SEA. what check points, if any, so have Touchless and is it restricted to only certain times? any info appreciated as a frequent flyer with Touchless who likes to keep my TSA experience as speedy as possible.
So I got a mailer from DennyBlaineParkForAll.org at my house which maps out at 1.5 miles from the park. I went to the website and invite you to do the same. I understand the concerns of those behind the legal and PR efforts to curb any problematic behaviors there. Personally I have used the beach on nice days for years and have not observed any of the obscene behaviors described and pictured but have no reason to doubt their occurrence. However these are outliers and not the norm. The typical use of the park on my watch has been people quietly enjoying the sun and water, often nude or partially nude. And the people who use it have in common an enjoyment of the beach. One does not sign in by sexual preference, notwithstanding some groups wanting to claim it as their own. What impresses me and frustrates me is that the group behind this effort is able to get serious attention from the city and courts by their efforts and presumably many dollars in legal expenses. At the same time a few people do bad things in a place where the majority are quietly and legally enjoying Denny Blaine, there are innumerable places in the city and region where illegal activity fairly defines the place, rather than be an outlier. I refer to every encampment where open air drug use, drug sales, stolen goods sales, trespassing on public lands, large scale littering and all that we have come to see as the new norm - go on largely unchallenged and unchanged. The occasional sweep happens but the issues remain largely unchanged and if anything expanding. And of course there are unique issues on Aurora where sex and human trafficking and associated violence has damaged the neighborhood and severely impacts victims. I am not a lawyer but wonder if the Denny Blaine issue and ability to address it is fundamentally different other than dollars and organization, from the illegal actions and presence that virtually every tent site and illegally parked vehicle represents? Do the people of Seattle, especially those close to such settings have standing to use similar tactics to insist that the city take meaningful action and enforcement?
Accident happens around 0:04 seconds. My wife was driving on I5 south today Thursday, September 17th around 2:45p-3:00p when a car right of her lane hit her back right bumper causing damage. The car looks to be a Nissan Xterra and ran off shortly after hitting our car. Here's the long shot: There is a white Tesla in front of us that she was following when the accident occurred. I'm *hoping* (1) the person is on Reddit and they see this post and (2) their cameras caught a glimpse of the car and/or license plate. Or if there were others who witnessed it as well. My wife is fine but a little shaken up. We filed a police report and will be providing this video footage as evidence but it would be great to identify the vehicle. I don't normally post on reddit so if this goes against any rules of this group please let me know and I will remove the post.

Anyone around this weekend? Host flaked on me so looking for people to hangout with. Decided to still send it even though I know nobody up there lol since I can’t get my money from flight back. Also I’ve never been to Seattle.
I work in corporate land and I wanna make some swag with some company budget for folks. We have a logo but I want to do something fun and creative either way it so wearing a hoodie doesn’t feel like a corporate ad. I used AI to brainstorm some of my ideas but I want to find a real human artist to help me realize it. I live here so I wanna try to support local, anyone got any good leads? My hope is to use this design on apparel or stickers or whatever in the future.
I’m married and I love my husband with all my heart, and my coworker has a girlfriend, so I’m absolutely not looking to act on anything. I’m just curious if I’m reading too much into some interactions. We work together and have had a few moments where the conversation feels unusually natural. has anyone else had a harmless crush while being genuinely happy in their relationship? How did you stop your brain from turning it into a whole story?
