Hey 23 year old Spaniard / American from San Diego here. I have a flight booked to Seattle for tomorrow through Sunday. The point of the trip was to stay with this girl I have been talking to and explore the city. She unexpectedly told me to stay in a hotel a couple days ago and instead of talking it over with me, I got blocked when I asked a couple fair and respectful questions. I was just going to eat the cost when a teacher at school told me I should go anyways and see if I can make some friends off Reddit! So if anyone is down to go out and get food, hit a bar or comedy show or make some other plans I would love to meet up with some people. I love to play chess, and soccer btw. Never been in the area before. Also ideally if I could throw you some money to couch surf that would be great, but if not no worries. hit me up ASAP on Reddit messages

I lived there for a few years before the pandemic, moved out 6 years ago and have evolved immensely as a person. I think I’d enjoy living there even more now than I did back then, but I’m happy where I’m at. That said I’m stoked to bring my wife to Seattle this weekend :) she’s never been, is there anything neat going on we should check out?

I'm moving to the Seattle are for a job and need to find temporary housing starting on 9/26. It's just me and my wife. A room in a house would be fine. We're quite, nonsmokers and don't drink or do drugs. No pets either, not that we would mind if the homeowner has pets. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. ETA I'll be doing hospice nursing on the norther end of King County.

With Fall upon us, I've noticed some streets are starting to turn colors and wanted to do a little tour. I'm aware of Interlaken and the roads around Mt Pleasant Cemetery on QA. What other good roads in the city are pretty this time of year? Thanks

I'm moving out of my apartment next month and debating whether it's worth hiring cleaners instead of trying to do everything myself. Between packing and getting the new place set up, I really don't want to spend my last day here scrubbing the oven, bathroom, cabinets, etc. I'm looking at house cleaning services in Seattle that do move-out cleans, but I've never hired one before. For anyone who's done it, was it worth paying for and is there a company you'd recommend?

After being dropped by the mall owners from the redevelopment plans earlier this year, Topgolf says its back at the negotiation table. Everett Mall still wants the entertainment venue. Also, the mall has signed leases with two other national retailers. Interesting updates for the property that came out today.
