I recently had my fiancée’s engagement ring made by Taylon at Lords of Luxury in Bellevue and had a really good experience. She joined me for the first appointment to try on different shapes and settings. Once we knew what she liked, I handled the rest with Taylon. He sourced the oval diamond and helped me turn those details into a platinum cathedral setting with a hidden halo and pavé band. What stood out was how straightforward he was. He had real opinions on the design, wasn’t pushy, and told me when spending more wouldn’t add enough visually to be worth it. We worked through the renders before casting, and the finished ring came out great. She said yes and loves it. Just sharing for anyone on the Eastside who would rather work with someone local on a custom ring. I spent endless hours on Reddit searching myself and wanted to post this in case anyone else was starting their engagement ring journey!

Since December 2025, Lynnwood, Mountlake Terrace and Edmonds have canceled their contracts with Flock Safety following reports of federal immigration enforcement accessing local networks. In February, Everett paused its network after a Snohomish County judge ruled that the footage would be subject to public records requests. The city reactivated its network in April following a new state law that explicitly exempts the footage from the Public Records Act. For the past two years, Everett's Flock camera system has been fully grant-funded. In the future, the city may have to pay about $225,000 per year. ~ A judge ruled the footage was public, so the legislature wrote an exemption. Now residents need 3,250 signatures just to get a vote on it.

Anyone else see this? Around 5:40 today. Some psycho guy, black in grey sweats with a durag on was jumping into oncoming traffic on the Denny I-5 overpass. He was jumping inbetween both lanes going up the hill trying to stop traffic. Almost got hit by a Polestar and the 8 bus. wtf why are all the crazies out today!?!?

Hey yall, So I live here alone and haven’t made any friends. Family is far. Always, I need one of my wisdom teeth extracted. It’s compacted so it’ll be a surgery I’ll be put under for. I’m wondering if ubering to and from would be safe for me? Or would I need to have a family member fly out and help me? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Event started at 5:30 with no posted end time. Looks like about 40 people officially part of the gathering with a lot of tourists stopping to watch as well. Right now a folk singer is singing an anti-war song. Organizers include Refuse Fascism (probably the most normie group here, whose messaging is almost always about stopping Trump) as well as groups like Seattle Against War and Freedom Road Socialist Organization, which have said some more fringe things but today are sticking to chants like “No blood for foreign oil!” (Unfortunately though still bringing the IRGC flag which could be interpreted as supporting the murderous Iranian government, which goes a lot further than just opposing US intervention.)
