I’ve been sick since last Friday. Woke up with sore throat and aches. By Friday night fever of 101. Tested negative for Covid, flu, and strep. Sore throat continues to be main symptom. Had a fever two more times. Just had first 24 hours fever free. Sick of being sick!

We all hate that douche who brings a speaker everywhere to blare their music, giving themselves a sense of self-importance like they need their own theme song playing everywhere they go. It’s even worse on public transportation, where they’ve basically created a captive audience. But imagine my surprise when this lady and her friend sit down at a restaurant table not five feet from mine and pull out a not-insignificantly-sized speaker. Granted, we were in the outdoor seating area. But come on. At that point, everyone else’s experience is now being dictated by one asshole who decided the entire patio needed to listen to her playlist.

Does anyone have any good suggestions for places to visit in and/or within an hour drive of Seattle to get into the Halloween spirit? I'll be working Halloween night, unfortunately, so looking to do some fun stuff before! 21+ friendly. I've been looking into haunted houses/corn mazes and have seeh suggestions for the Georgetown Morgue, Bob's Corn & Pumpkin Farm, & Remlinger Farms, but if anyone has any other suggestions, please drop them below!!

I want to turn some Vans pants into work pants. I would like a few pockets installed, in strategic places, for my tools. I asked a tailor near my house, but I think there was a language barrier. I would really love to get this done. Is there someone out there who can add pockets to these? Hopefully with stitching that will last.

Hey there. Going to see a show tonight and I'm worried about the dress code. I don't own dressy clothing. I was planning on wearing my gray Adidas sneakers (they are very clean), dark wash jeans, and this gray crop T-shirt. The crop is a little oversized (doesn't show my midsection and my pants are high-waisted anyway) but it's flowy. Doesn't look bad. Also I have a very nice, dark wash, denim jacket. Is this too casual???? Are they really going to turn me away? 28F.

Daughter left her black purse inside Lime glider bike basket 8/22. The Juicy wallet inside has her school IDs inside for identification (Pedicino last name). Saw on Sunday 9/13 that someone had posted it under "Found" on founditapp.org but the post now doesn't show up when I search, and there was no way to contact the poster when I first saw it, only option was to submit a "Lost Report" and supposedly their team "makes the match from there." Nothing has come of it so far. TY!
